· Experience with commercial floor care preferred

· Experience cleaning in a commercial setting is required.

· Assist in Laundry Department, on a as needed basis

In House Pool are required to work every other weekend & then pick up based on your schedule.

Rate of pay is dependent on Certifications & Experience.

CBRF Certified starts around $13.75 & CNA is $15

Some of the main job duties include helping serve food and beverages, clearing and resetting tables, dish washing and floor maintenance at Abundant Life Manor, a behavioral health assisted living home, on Milwaukee's east side.

Located just blocks away from UWM's campus!

This is a part time position with the hours for this position are primarily 6:30-3pm or 10:30am-7pm. You must be able to train & work both shifts.

This part time position will require every other weekend & some holidays.

Responsibilities:

1. Complete pre-meal setup of beverage station and dishwasher area.
2. Serve food and beverage courses to residents and visitors.
3. Offer appropriate menu selections to residents, offering substitutions and/or alternate meal substitutions. Document alternate selection for chef.
4. Inform residents what foods are available if they are unable to read menu.
5. Know residents by name and their food and beverage likes and dislikes and any dietary restrictions.
6. Serve beverage of choice to each resident and offering beverage refills.
7. Clear tables when residents are finished eating.
8. Offer second helpings to residents who may desire more food.
9. Clean and sanitize tables at end of meal and set tables for next meal.
10. Assist in dish room, run dishwasher and put away clean dishes.
11. Vacuum dining room carpeting and sweep and mop dishwasher area.
12. Complete closing checklist, securing kitchen, dining room and all storage areas.
13. Carry out other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
1. Friendly personality.
2. Ability to keep things organized.
3. Enjoy working with older adult residents.
4. Experience with waiting tables preferred and/or dishwasher/busing experience.

Completes on going food inventory as items come in and are used.

Assures foods are prepared, stored, and labeled according to proper kitchen and food procedures.
Maintains a safe and secure working environment and practices safe working habits.
