Society of Behavioral Medicine SBM is a multidisciplinary, professional society working to improve health by changing behavior.

Multidisciplinary org dedicated to promoting the study of the interactions of behavior with biology and the environment, and the application of that knowledge to improve the health and well being of individuals, families, communities and populations. Our 2,400+ members are scientific researchers, clinicians, educators, and students. They treat and prevent disease by conducting research and translating evidence into
practical application. They implement interventions that improve the health of individuals, families, and whole communities. They focus on behavior change across the lifespan and work in more than 40 specialty areas including cancer, chronic disease, obesity, and physical activity.
