Becoming a foster parent can feel scary. It’s a transition full of questions, emotions and unknowns.

To help ease some of those fears, Wellpoint Care Network now offers a Foster Parent Mentor Program, which pairs experienced foster parents with newly licensed caregivers.

Wellpoint Care Network is seeking a licensed trauma-informed foster home for an eight-year-old girl. She does have some mental health concerns and her team is working hard to have those addressed.

Overall, she has a caring heart and wants to love, be loved and succeed. She loves playing videogames, playing Roblox and being active with her family. This morning, Wellpoint Care Network participated in the 29th Annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration.

It was a great opportunity to connect with many of our community partners and celebrate the work being done in Milwaukee and across the state.

This week, we partnered with UMOS, Inc. and the Milwaukee Diaper Mission to host a Diaper and Food Pantry pop-up. The goal was to provide free diapers, food, and access to community resources — all in one place.

A big thank you to everyone who attended. We look forward to continuing this partnership throughout 2026!
