Can Faith Manage Stress?

There are many spiritual practices that can assist in managing stress. Here are just a few ideas of things that can help:

Breathing Techniques- Regulates(calms,stabilizes) the body. It involve taking deep breaths, focusing on breathing, and counting breaths to create a rhythm.

Prayer - a method of addressing your thoughts and concerns to God.

Bible Scriptures- considered an anchor and blueprint for many individuals. They includes verses about hope and strength.

Gratitude - releases dopamine (the hormone that helps you feel content and motivated) which helps us feel good and builds our inner strength to manage stress. It involves acknowledging and being thankful for the good in your life.

Social Connection - having a solid support network can help you improve your ability to navigate stress
