This trio of girls has been a welcome addition to our barn over the last five months. We love their visits!

It’s been fun to watch the unique relationship each one has developed with their favorite horse as they learn side by side. And their enthusiasm and curiosity seems to build every week and really is heart warming.

I’m proud of their continued progress and looking forward to seeing them again very soon!!

We had the honor of hosting Dannah and the True Girl team here during their recent Wisconsin pop up party!

The acoustic worship and discussions about how getting to know the Bible better keeps us steady in our lives were so powerful. And our Mother-Daughter horse activity gave everyone the chance to slow down and feel and see God’s presence here on earth. It brought Romans 1:20 to life.

If you’re not already familiar with her, check out Dannah’s story and resources. She is a gift to the world - and especially to Moms of pr***en girls!

So we’re opening up more Wednesdays in October - to offer more people the chance to decompress and rejuvenate with a horse!

We absolutely adore Arabelle (and her close bond with Yarix!) So it was an honor to get to host her birthday party again this year!

These girls really got the horses looking good. And wow did they show what excellent young horsewomen they are!

“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” -Philippians 4:13

Last week was our final “Strengthen your Faith” Camp of the summer. And we really finished strong. These kids and horses were truly amazing together!

We enjoyed both quiet reflection times and high energy activities with the horses.

The kids got in lots of leadership practice — plus chats about how we can each be the type of leader God intended us to be when we remember that FAITH is our source of strength and confidence.

I really do love these camp weeks. And I’m happy that many of our camp kids are opting to continue with year-round FAITH-focused sessions too!

Today was an extra great day to thank God for SO many things - including a break in the rain, a dry barn and for His gift to humans that we call horses.

These creatures helped our camp kids feel present, grateful, capable and more connected to their faith today.

We finished up another joy-filled week of Resilient Kids camp on Friday!

Highlights included:

—Lots of self-esteem boosting, horse leadership practice

—Plenty of opportunities for experimentation and trial and error - is more assertive energy needed in this situation or is a calmer, more subtle approach better in this case?

—Chats about what it means to be RESILIENT and grounded. (And how we want to embrace and appreciate the learning that comes from mistakes and struggles!)

—Fun, creative play opportunities with the horses

—Horse hugs - as always!

—Amazing teamwork, sharing and cooperation amongst the kids!
