What I love the most about our horse sessions is allowing people an opportunity to connect with these sensitive, intelligent animals.

And while this erratic and extreme weather makes the days more difficult for horse care and barn management, they also allow a different type of experience for powerful learning moments with horses. Extreme weather days offer a chance to feel - in a very tangible way - how much your presence and calm focus with the horses makes a difference.

Our official Summer Schedule is set! And registration is now open!

What’s the same as last year?

- Our focus is partnering with horses to help improve lives and build, stronger, healthier people. We love hearing from you about what you’re most hoping to get out of a session or a camp, and we personalize camp details to make things as relevant as possible for the group in attendance each day.

- Our popular 5-day camps are back again - Resilient Kids camp will be in June. Strengthen Your Faith camp is the first week of August.

- Our fun one day camps “Working Day at the Horse Barn” and “All About Horses” are scheduled in July again!

- For adults - We are offering relaxing small group adult horse retreats again! And our open-house style “Grounding Horse Time” sessions will continue on the non-camp Wednesdays.

- As always - private customized versions of these camps, retreats or any other types of horse sessions or experiences are available for all ages at a time that works for you!

What’s NEW this summer?

- Grateful Hearts camp will be offered as a 4 day camp! (And yes, it includes riding on the last day.)

- We added three new camps:

1. Advanced Horse Leadership camp - for kids age 10 and older who have participated in our camps or private sessions previously and are ready for “the next level” of horsemanship skills training.

2. Self-confidence boost - one day horse camps are scheduled both to help your family kick off the summer right and also to help ease the transition back to school in the fall.

3. Ninja Warrior camp - If you’ve been to our camps, you know how much fun the kids have playing on our ninja course during free time. So after 4 years of requests… our very own world champion ninja has agreed to host a camp as well as private lessons!

- Ninja Warrior small group and private sessions are available to schedule at a time that works for you - and will make a great way to extend camp days!

- Longer day options - Our one day camps are longer this year and we are offering some flexible schedule options to extend camp days to better accommodate parents’ schedules. If you need an alternative drop off or pick up time, let us know - we may be able to help.

I love and encourage all the questions I’ve been getting about our spring and summer horse time opportunities!

We are still finalizing details but here is a SNEAK PEEK at our rough summer plans.

We will start taking registrations after this is finalized and officially announced - in about a week:

5/2, 6/5 and 6/6 - one day Adult Horse Retreats

W 6/17 - Self-Confidence Boost, one day horse camp

TH 6/18 - Ninja Warrior obstacle course play camp (NEW - as requested!)

M-F 6/22-6/26 - Resilient Kids horse camp (9:30-11:30 or extended time till 1:30)

M-TH 6/29-7/2 - Grateful Hearts horse camp (9:30-11:30 or extended time till 1:30)

T 7/7 - Working day at the horse barn - one day camp (9-3:30)

W 7/8 - Working day at the horse barn - one day camp (9-3:30)

TH 7/9 - All About Horses - one day camp (9-3:30)

M-F 7/27-7/31 - Strengthen Your Faith - horse camp (9:30-11:30 or extended time till 1:30)

M-F 8/3-8/7 - Advanced Horse Leadership camp

Dreaming of summertime days? We are finalizing our summer schedule, and would love any and all input from you - whether you’ve been to our barn before or not.

We will definitely hold a Resilient Kids camp and a Strengthen Your Faith camp for kids. We are also debating some of these Qs:

-Should we hold some one day camps again?
-Should we extend our one day camp topics (All About Horses, Working Day at the Barn, Grateful Hearts) to be 2, 3 or even 5 day camps?
-Should we introduce a Camp with a new focus topic? What would you like to see?
-Should we schedule a camp or retreat specifically for parents and kids to participate together? Or maybe more adult-only horse experience or group retreat opportunities?

As is always the case - We’d love feedback of any type, whether it’s on content you’d like us to cover, experiences you wish we offered, ideal time of day for camps, number of days, etc.

I was not expecting to find this cute, sleepy scene when I went out to do the nighttime chores tonight.

Although the extreme cold temps feel unbearable, the horses are all doing well.

Their bodies stay impressively warm by digesting hay. They’ve been playful, curious, funny and sweet today - as usual. (And somehow that feels extra special on days like this one.)

Being able to provide a good home for our horses on these extra tough, cold days makes me even more grateful for and amazed by the magnificent beings they are.
