Hello friends.
We're putting together a video of what Milwaukee feels and looks like right now, and we need a little help. Well, we need a lot of help actually. We want footage of what your life is looking like right now. All the homeschooling, face mask making, social distancing, bread baking, home brewing, tinkering on an old project, or maybe footage of you learning a new hobby. That stuff is all great!
But more than that, we also want to see what your sense of community looks like right now. Some cell phone footage of your local restaurant curbside pickup, Zoom or FaceTime happy hours with friends. Tik Tok challenges back and forth. Livestreams of a yoga class, gym class, a church service - or maybe getting a tutorial on how to cut a family member's hair. Who's getting actual letters in the mail from family, or walking on to their porch to see a delivery or chalk drawing from a friend. How about footage of you making a delivery or a chalk drawing? How are we helping each other and ourselves? How do you see our sense of community in these weird times.
We'd love for you to help use see that too. If you wouldn’t mind, capture a little bit of it and send it to use at milwaukeeday@gmail.com and we’ll compile it all together and share it back out.
