There is emerging evidence that a little physical exercise, resistance exercises in particular, can help support brain health. A healthy brain can mean improved concentration, memory, and even feeling happier. Not to mention, you'll reap the benefits of exercising.

Always check with your medical provider if you're unsure about what exercise might be best for you.

The Kenosha Survivors of Su***de Loss Support Group is hosting its 4th annual su***de prevention walk, Stroll for Hope to End Su***de, taking place on Saturday, May 16th at Lake Andrea.

The Kenosha Survivors of Su***de Loss Support group was started in 2014, helping over 335 individuals on their grief journey. We continue to meet, providing a safe space for survivors to share their experiences, learn about resources and get support.

We are asking for your support for our 4th annual Stroll for Hope to End Su***de Walk. The money we raise will be used to purchase supplies for group, provide awareness and prevention in the community and develop and maintain a website for Survivors of Su***de Loss to connect.

You can support our efforts by becoming a sponsor, participate in the walk along with your staff, or by simply helping spread the word.

Politics, work, the kids, money- the trigger doesn't matter. How you respond matters a lot. Here's a tool to help you remember.

Think this to yourself, or even say it out loud,
"I'm feeling __________ right now. This emotion is valid, but I don't have to act on it. I can check the facts and choose what helps me."

And if you feel you need to speak with someone, please call us at 414-810-4844 to make an appointment with a therapist or medication prescriber. Most insurances accepted, including Medicaid and Medicare.

We warmly welcome Katie Baldwin, a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who has joined the West Grove Clinic team.

Katie graduated nursing in 2011 and started work at an inpatient behavioral health hospital for children and adolescents in Anchorage, Alaska. It was during this time, that she discovered a deep passion for working with young people and supporting them through mental and behavioral health challenges.

When she relocated to Wisconsin, she continued working in mental health as a registered nurse in a Partial Hospitalization Program and Intensive Outpatient Program. Through this experience she developed valuable skills in supporting individuals with a wide range of psychiatric conditions. She also cultivated collaborative relationships on multidisciplinary treatment teams.

In 2025, she earned her degree as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She feels strongly about providing compassionate, patient-centered care, and looks forward to partnering with individuals ages 6 years and older as they work toward improving their mental health and overall well-being.

Katie will be accepting new patients soon, both virtually and in person, please contact any of our four offices for more information.

Goals are a great way to keep your "eye on the prize," so to speak, but can be a set-up for failure. Intentions are a great way to see the bigger picture, but it might be easy to lose focus.

The magic happens when you combine them. The intention provides meaning. The goal provides structure. Together, they support sustainable change.

If you need a helping hand getting where you want to go, give us a call. We can help. West Grove Clinic 414-810-4844.
