Gingerbread Land Inc. Gingerbread Land is a nonprofit organization reaching out to those in need of support, guidance, and love. Since 1989, thousands have been assisted at GBL.

Gingerbread Land Inc. was founded by the late Sister Clara in the late 1980s. It is comprised of several housing units located on Milwaukee's Urban East Side. It has been a safe haven for many of the residents that seek shelter, guidance, food, clothing, encouragement, and prayer. For more information please call 414-264- 3571.

When you get time please check out the recent journal signal story about Sister Clara and why she received an honorary street sign.

About 50 Milwaukeeans are honored around the city with honorary street signs that hang under official street signs over the course of a few blocks.
