There’s something about this time of year that always feels like my true “new year”..

A quiet return to light… to warmth… to life unfolding again.

Over the past few months, I’ve been a little more inward—protecting my energy, finding stillness, and choosing presence over the noise. And now, with the arrival of the Spring Equinox, I feel that gentle shift… a soft awakening. A reminder that growth doesn’t rush—it blooms.

Today, I’m welcoming it all with an open heart—the light, the joy, the renewal, and the beautiful new beginnings that Mother Nature so effortlessly offers.

And this season feels even more meaningful as I celebrate 27 years of these hands devoted to massage, skincare, and bodywork.

Twenty-seven years of connection, healing, and care—it’s an honor I never take for granted.

💖 Save the Date: Art Therapy in Full Session! 🎨

Things have felt heavy lately, and art has a beautiful way of bringing people together—especially kids. With Valentine’s Day coming up, we wanted to spread some extra love to a community that’s often overlooked: our seniors. 💕

Join us for a FREE Valentine’s Making Event for Kids!!

📍The Sugar Maple (back room) 441E. Lincoln Avenue, 53207

📅 Sunday, February 8th

⏰ 1:00–3:00 PM We’ll have three creative stations for kids to enjoy:

💌 Valentine’s Crafting Table
🪨 Rock Painting (take one home—or hide it in your neighborhood!)
🧁 Cupcake Decorating Station — kids earn a cupcake after crafting three valentines.

Our goal is to create at least 100 handmade valentines to deliver to a local senior center or nursing home.

This is a free, family-friendly community event—please come by, create, and share the love 💗
*children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian*

Today is a day where many in our broader community are choosing to pause work and reflect on important issues affecting our nation.

As a solo practitioner in the health and wellness field, I felt the need to remain open today. This work supports both my livelihood and the ongoing care of clients who depend on consistency for their well-being.

I believe in the value of honoring collective moments while also recognizing that independent workers often have to navigate these days differently.

As a bodyworker, my role is to help bring people back into their bodies—to release stress, soften tension, and return to their daily lives feeling a little more balanced and whole.

With everything that has unfolded recently, I know many of us are carrying a heavy load. I’ve felt it too. The shock, fear, anger, sadness, and confusion are real. Over the past months—especially lately—I’ve seen and felt an increase in the heaviness people are holding. There is so much division, fear, and reactivity in the world right now, and it’s heartbreaking.

In nearly 27 years of practice, I’ve worked with people of all beliefs, backgrounds, and perspectives. And what I’ve learned is this: most people are inherently good. Most carry love and kindness, even if their paths, views, or experiences differ from our own.

We are all going through something. Fear and pain can drive reactions that don’t reflect who we truly are. Two wrongs don’t make a right, and meeting fire with fire only deepens the divide. Compassion, pause, and thoughtful response matter—now more than ever.

Control what you can. One breath at a time. Be kind. Love deeply. Respectfully agree to disagree.

I’ll continue to be here—helping you reconnect, rebalance, and return to the world with a little more ease, clarity, and care. 🤍

Whether you have kids or not, there’s no denying this week always marks a seasonal shift.

Summer is exhaling its final breath, while fall sneaks in with those quiet, crisp whispers of change.

For me, summer felt way too short this year — nonstop with camps, work, and everything in between.

It seemed like school had just ended before it was time to dive back into routine again.

Somehow, this week has been smooth sailing — and I’ll take it.

First weeks back can bring out all the emotions (for everyone!). We’ve struggled in years past, but this new routine has served us surprisingly well. And while I’m not ready to fully say goodbye to summer, I am appreciating this pause — embracing the transition and being present.

So here’s your gentle weekend reminder:

Take in these breezy mornings. Let the sun kiss your face. Smell the last blooms before they fade. Let yourself pause — really pause — and take it all in.

As we celebrate Independence Day, I cannot help but to reflect on what the phrase “liberty and justice for all” truly means.

This promise—so central to our national identity—calls on us not only to honor the freedoms we enjoy, but to consider whose voices have shaped that freedom, and whose voices have yet to be fully heard.

For many, July 4th marks a profound moment of national pride and independence. But for others, it also marks a reminder of the freedoms that were denied—both in 1776 and in the generations since.

Today, we pause to reflect on that complex history. We acknowledge the contradictions and challenges that continue to shape our country. And we ask: what could “liberty and justice for all” truly look like in our future?

Let this day be more than celebration—let it be a moment of listening, learning, and recommitting to the values we aspire to uphold.

✨ The Art of Letting Go ✨

The full Strawberry Moon is now slipping past the horizon — her light softening, her message still lingering.

Letting go isn’t just about removing what’s old or broken. It’s about making space. For clarity. For peace. For something new to grow.

A cluttered drawer. A crowded mind. A heart heavy with stories long past their time. We all carry things — out of love, out of habit, out of fear. But sometimes the most nurturing thing we can do is release.

Not to forget.
Not to erase.
But to allow something else to breathe through us.

This is your reminder:
You don’t need to carry it all.

✨ I love being a mom. It’s the greatest blessing to watch this little girl of mine grow, to witness her magic unfold day by day. I spent four decades just being me—exploring, evolving, living life on my own terms. But becoming a mother? It’s fulfilled me in ways I never even knew I needed.

Through her, I get to relive childhood… to rewrite the story. I offer her love, freedom, and the space to be her truest self (which, let’s be honest, can be A LOT sometimes 😅)—and in doing that, I’m healing pieces of me too. 💫

Being a single mom carries a different kind of weight, but also a unique kind of magic. Some days flow with ease, others feel heavy. But we keep going. We keep growing. We keep laughing. And together, we’re building a life that’s full of beauty and becoming.

Motherhood has shown me a strength I didn’t know I had and a love deeper than I ever imagined. 🌹

✨Sometimes you have to create your own sunshine✨

For me, flowers have that magical way of lifting a mood instantly—especially here in the Midwest, where spring keeps us on our toes! One minute it’s sunny and 65°, and the next you’re dodging hail in your hoodie.

There’s something so simple, yet hopeful about a mason jar filled with tulips or daisies. Just a little pop of color can completely change the feel of a room 🌷
