The identification, preparation and care of the deceased is the single most important aspect to our license as funeral directors and as a funeral home. Our licensed professional staff takes the utmost care of the deceased and our care and preparation center is clean and well maintained. When a family chooses cremation, you can be assured your loved one never leaves our care as they are transferred to our on-site cremation center. Personal touch. Our hands-on, personal approach is by far, our most valuable asset and what we feel makes us irreplaceable. We take special care to make sure that the deceased and their family is given the highest level of attention and support during this sensitive time. Upon notification or very shortly after notification of the death of a loved one, a family can expect to speak with a licensed funeral director that will begin to guide them. When located in the greater Milwaukee area, our staff will hand deliver the death certificate to the physician or medical certifier that will be signing the death certificate. From the greeters at the funeral service to the hand delivered flowers to the handling of the life insurance and other documents, being attentive and anticipating our families needs is what we do better than anyone else. Simplicity. All accommodations for a funeral can be made at our funeral home including floral, luncheon and signature services. Our memorial display makes choosing funeral merchandise (urns, caskets, etc.) simple and easy. Our personal support and streamlined process for handling life insurance, social security and other paperwork removes the stress during your time of need.

DATES:
Session I: Mondays - April 7th, 14th, 21st
Session II: Mondays - April 28th, May 5th, May 12th, May 19th

TIMES (BOTH TIMES AVAILABLE FOR EITHER SESSION I OR II):
12:30PM or 6PM, 1 hour each.

WHERE:
Tippecanoe Library (Southeast corner of Howell Ave. and Howard Ave.) Off street parking available, building is fully accessible.

REGISTRATION:
Free AND required. Please be sure to designate either Session I or II, afternoon or evening.

Each week we will explore “stepping” with and through our grief. Everyone is welcome. Come on your own, or bring a supportive friend or another family member.

FACILITATOR:
Kelly Fowler offers her skills as a compassionate listener, group facilitator, teacher and pastoral care practitioner to open space for those experiencing loss and to be reminded that they are not alone. This is not therapy and not particularly religious in nature — this is safe time and space to re-orient daily living while grieving with permission, empathy, and action toward your “Next Step.”

Whether the loss is recent or long ago—the mourning may pass yet the grieving journey continues. We care about your “Next Step.”
