DO ANY OF YOU, DEAR COMMUNITY, HAVE A GUITAR YOU ARE WILLING TO GIVE TO TILDEN?!?

The fact that this kind man is required to sleep under a bridge tonight is all you need to show the failings of this society.

Tilden is a kind-hearted artist. I stopped because I recognized him from years past. After helping him acquire some dinner he traded me these rad drawings of a saxophone player and some “black cubism”.
When we were talking, he brought up the fact that he is trying to save up for a guitar, the cheapest guitar from Wade’s down the road.
I bet one of you seeing this has a guitar you haven’t used in years let’s give this guy a gift.
He would also appreciate sketch books and drawing utencils mostly mechanical pencils.

Had a really fun time at yesterday for the they run. These are donation based offerings that fund charitable organizations and goals.

The drive that I co-created with Ms Akan of Parkside Elementary has been fully funded! The students will be receiving a variety of instruments to use in their classrooms next fall!
Not only that but the donations from last nights event have purchased a new tongue drum that will arrive on Monday!

the hypnosis segment of our event will be focusing on the tropical zodiac’s Libra Full Moon energies. “hypnosis” in this case refers to the deep relaxation into your Self, in which You maintain a full control, in order to see your Self, perceive your current state, and make the changes that are indicated if you so choose, with a little guidance. you will not be programmed by anyone other than your self.

everything is here to help.
the goings on in the world and how we each perceive them are perfectly timed for the lessons each of us need right now and it’s perfectly respresented by “relationship to self and others”

the definition of self is the key. we have our different levels of self. we have higher self, past life selves, work self, romantic self, subconscious self, and so on. we also have the reality of a shared self, our unity self.
the world is a mirror and only ever so. our outer experience only shows us our inner reality. the interpretation is not uniform, but totally unique, meaning that two people experiencing the same thing from an outer perspective, may have entirely different lessons offered by the mirror.

to see the “other” as only ever another part of our Self allows for the smooth integration of our lessons.
self love and acceptance then translates outward ad infinitum.

unconditional love for ourselves is often practiced through conflict. how can i love my self despite how im attacked? how can i love the other despite how they act? how can i hold boundaries while maintaining a true and lasting love for this version of my self, whether in my shadow or manifested in an “other self”?

explore these concepts within the company of your Self, then unpack what you find in the company of other-selves during the full moon event this saturday.

SEEKING DONATIONS TO ACQUIRE THERAPEUTIC INSTRUMENTS FOR SPECIAL EDUCATION CLASSES.

As I mentioned a couple of days ago, I have been working for at an MPS school teaching mindfulness practices. One of the services we have been providing is therapeutic sound sessions for the special education classes.
We go in to the classrooms for 5-15minutes at a time with a variety of instruments; ocean drums, tuning forks, singing bowls, and more.
The students, many of whom are non-verbal autistic children, absolutely love the vibrations these instruments create. They love to feel the vibrations in their hands, on their heads, in their ears. It seems to ground them and help them to feel more connected to their bodies. These short visits to the SpEd classrooms also seem to bring a calm reset to the teachers and paraprofessionals who work with these children full time.

I have teamed up with one of these teachers, who has created a “Donors Choose” page with a list of instruments we are hoping to acquire for the several SpEd classrooms in the school.

Item prices range from $10 to $200. You can choose to either purchase one of the items on the wish list, or donate any amount of money directly to the fund pool.

LIFE/SERVICE UPDATE:

A year and a half ago I announced my step back from the majority of my activity as Therapeutic Sound Practitioner, Energy Therapy Practitioner, and Guide/Teacher in those fields.
The intention was to create a vacuum for what was next, to connect more deeply to my authentic service offerings, and to deepen my connection to my ancestors, guides, guardians, and allies of animal, plant, and mineral kingdoms.

These intentions were achieved, although some are lifelong processes.

For the past 7 months I have been working for the as a Mindful Moment instructor at Parkside Elementary and Middle School.

The Mindful Moment Room provides a safe space for kids to come and practice mindfully breathing, moving, and meditating. Students can either self refer, or be sent to the room (not as punishment) to practice emotional self-regulation.
We also go from class to class teaching students and teachers, and do school wide practices over the loud speaker each morning.

School year to date, we have offered nearly 2000 sessions for individual students, staff, and classrooms of kids at Parkside alone.

Milwaukee is blessed to have the Holistic Life Foundation at not only Parkside, but at Bradley Tech High School as well, with plans to expand to Carver Academy in fall of 2025.

I feel truly blessed to be doing this work, helping kids to practice these elementary yet profoundly effective practices, while I continue doing my work as and in the larger community.

one of the most profound thing that solar and lunar eclipses do for us, in my understanding, is to show you your shadow. clearly, without obstruction, those who have eyes to see will see(willingness).
the lunar nodes in astrology are extremely important for understanding one’s own shadow, the aspects of self either not yet fully developed, the aspects of our wholeness either not fully conscious or consciously rejected.
the north and south nodes respectively speak to where you are going and where you have been.
they are about change.

i have gone through a number of intense initiations since viewing the total solar eclipse on the banks of the mississippi river in august 2017. a relatively unbroken stream of events intensely joyful and intensely painful. expanded capacity. this one i took it easy, lit a small fire for reverence and gratitude and light and stayed in the shade of cedar trees, we gave some offerings to the faeries of our yard, and mostly drumming and singing in the basement because the solar energy was nauseating. (fun fact: picture two is what happens when selenite goes through a fire)

the paths of totality for these north american eclipses literally draw an X over the “united” states. we can see that we have all been in an intense initiation since then. we can see not only our own individual shadows but our government’s shadow so overtly.
we are living inside our government’s shadow.

what are we growing into?

what are we leaving behind?

how can we gaze into the mirror of our outer experience and integrate the change within our self?
what is being asked of us now that we are resisting?

how much will it take to open our heart to the infinite love that waits patiently, ready to flow through us?

it only takes a moment to reconnect to Spirit, but often we require intense pain to open to it.

everything going on in the many levels of world at this time is meant for one purpose, not to break us, but to break us open.

the universe will force us to feel.

please do not numb, do not avoid the catalyst

open our eyes and ears to the mirror in and around us everywhere.
