🌟 New Episode Alert: Giving Voice to Depression 🌟

You likely relate to the metaphor of carrying an invisible boulder crushing your spirit every single day.

That’s how Eric described his years-long battle with depression — a weight so heavy it pinned him to the earth.

But what if that boulder wasn’t just pain, but a protector of something precious beneath?

In this week’s episode, Eric shares his journey from intellectualizing his depression to connecting with the parts of himself that truly needed love and care — his “Atlas” and his inner child. Through powerful therapy and radical self-compassion, Eric found a new kind of rootedness and peace.

💬 “The shift wasn’t about eradicating the boulder, but learning to soften into it with grace.”
🎧 Tune in to hear Eric’s story of hope, healing, and faith in what’s next. https://recovery.com/podcasts/softening-to-the-darkness/

We go to the eye doctor when our vision blurs.
We take our car in when it starts making strange noises.
So why do we wait until we’re in crisis to get help for our mental health?

In this Giving Voice to Depression episode, therapist Dr. Anita Sanz pulls back the curtain on therapy: what it looks like, how to find the right fit, and why waiting until you're "really bad" isn't necessary—or helpful.

This conversation is for anyone who’s been curious about therapy but felt intimidated, unsure, or ashamed.
It’s real, relatable, and rooted in compassion.

🎧 Give it a listen—you just might see therapy (and yourself) differently.

A single conversation can change the course of your life.

A single person stepping in to say "You are not yourself. I am worried about you" can change the course of your life and recovery.

That's the story Chloe shares in this remixed episode. The school year may be ending, but the need to tune in, step in and care most certainly is not.
