Our February studio schedule is now live✨

MKE Yoga Social (studio classes)
📍 5326 W. Vliet Street
(use back entrance)

✨We've added a "Heated Power Hour" to the line-up!🔥

Join us Wednesdays at 6 pm for an hour long gently heated (80° + 30% humidity) power flow, linking movement with breath. In this class, we turn up the heat, the flow and weave planks and other heat-building movement into the sequence. Recommended for those who have taken at least 3 - 5 yoga sessions or have experience in fitness / high-intensity.

Not a fan of the heat / high-intensity? We also offer 😴 Yin Deep Stretch and 🕯️Candlelit Warm Restorative sessions weekly! (not to mention, our VERY popular 👣 clothing-optional sessions).

➡️ Sign up on the MKE Yoga Social app.
If a session is full, join the waitlist, there is a strong chance you will still get added to the class the day of.

Stay warm and see you on the mat soon, omies👋

✨️Help us wish Eliana a Happy Birthday today!✨️

She’s a big reader…the kind of person who can disappear into a book for hours, whether she’s curled up at home or tucked into a cozy café somewhere in Milwaukee. She spent almost two years living in Washington, DC and it’s still one of her favorite places to return to whenever she needs a spark of inspiration.

And for the most delightful fun fact…she can make balloon animals. Yes, really. 🎈

Here’s to another year of her stories, her adventures and all the unexpected skills that make her so easy to love.

➡️ Join Eliana at one of her upcoming classes:

🗓 2/14 at 11am Yoga at 3rd Street Market Hall
🗓 Mondays at 6pm🔥HOT Vinyasa Flow
🗓 Sundays at 6:30pm Candlelit Yin Deep Stretch

Here's a bit about Eliana in her own words ⤵️

My yoga journey began back in High School gym class! I always struggled with confidence in exercise and movement but I quickly fell in love with how I could shape my yoga practice and adapt each movement to fit the needs of my body.
In 2024 I completed my 200-hour teacher training so that I could deepen my own practice and teach others to use yoga as a tool to find their confidence and spark movement through mindfulness. My teaching style is very simple and interactive. Accessibility is important to me, and I want yogis of all levels, shapes, and sizes in my classes to feel that they have the freedom to make each sequence their own while still having fun!

Practicing yoga reminds me that I am strong and that I can continue to build strength in my physical body and spirit just as I am. I hope to share that with others in the Milwaukee community through my teaching!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, Eliana!!⭐️

🌍 Saturday Self-Care for Heavy World Days

1. Limit the input.✨
You’re allowed to take a break from the news, social media doom-scrolling and hot takes. Being informed is important—being overloaded isn’t. Try a 24-hour boundary.

2. Do something with your hands.✨
Bake, garden, clean one drawer, fold laundry slowly, make tea. Simple, repetitive movement tells your nervous system: I’m safe right now.

3. Touch nature on purpose.✨
Bare feet on the floor. A walk without headphones. Sun on your face. Fresh air counts as medicine.

4. Choose regulation over reaction.✨
Before responding to anything stressful—pause, exhale longer than you inhale and check in with your body. Calm is a form of resistance.

5. Connect with someone who feels steady.✨
Not someone to vent at, but someone who reminds you who you are. Community doesn’t have to be loud to be supportive.

6. Move gently, not performatively.✨
Stretch, restorative yoga, a slow flow or laying on the floor with your legs up the wall. Your body doesn’t need discipline—it needs care.

7. Let yourself feel without fixing.✨
Grief, anger, fear, hope—none of it is wrong. You don’t have to turn every feeling into action today.

8. Do one small thing that brings beauty.✨
Flowers at the grocery store. Lighting a candle. Music that feels like a hug. Beauty reminds us why we keep going.

Take care, omies. 🙏🏽✨

We’re standing in solidarity. 🤍

We stand in solidarity with fellow small businesses across Milwaukee and beyond who are navigating an incredibly heavy and complex moment in our community.

While closing our doors didn’t feel right because community care is part of our work—it also didn’t feel aligned to move through today without acknowledgment or action.

Yoga teaches ahimsa—nonviolence in thought, word and action. Guided by the yamas, we choose compassion, presence and care for all beings.

A portion of tonight’s class proceeds will be donated to Voces de la Frontera, supporting their advocacy for immigrant families and communities.

If you’re able and feel called, you can also donate directly to support their work at vdlf.org.

Thank you for being here and practicing with care—for yourself and for others. ✨

✨️Featured Facilitator: Ashely Marchetti✨️

Welcome back Ashley!

Ashley has been teaching for a decade and practicing longer. Through yoga she has found grounding through life’s challenges and seeks to share this healing knowledge with others. A servant leader by nature, she leads each flow with intention and sometimes humor - the goal always being that students walk out lighter than they walked in.

Join Ashley at one of her upcoming classes and make sure to sign up ASAP as our clothing optional classes fill up fast!

🗓 Sunday, 2/1 6:30pm Candlelit Yin Deep Stretch at 5326 W. Vilet Street

🗓 Tuesdays at 5:45pm Clothing Optional (CO-ED) Warm Slow Flow at 5326 W. Vilet Street

🗓 Saturday, 2/7 Palomas + Poses at Paloma Bay View (Indoor)

🗓 Wednesdays (beginning February 4th) at 6pm Heated Power Hour at 5326 W. Vilet Street

Here's a bit about Ashley in her own words ⤵️

I’m an adventurer and a wanderer by nature, whether kayaking down rivers or getting lost in the woods, I always find myself in practice. I’ve practiced yoga for over a decade and as a teacher, my joy comes from seeing students discovering themselves through yoga. My classes are generally slow/medium pace where we focus on breathwork and body awareness. I firmly believe that tuning in with ourselves brings us to enlightenment because once we know what is in our hearts we can share it with the world. Throughout the class, you’ll let go of expectations and find peace in being present. When you’re ready, let’s meet on the mat.

✨ Monday Motivation ✨“Be willing to be a beginner every single day.” – Meister Eckhart

There is strength in starting fresh. In letting go of what you think you should know and allowing yourself to meet each moment with curiosity instead. 🌱

Being a beginner means staying open.
It means choosing growth over ego.
It means showing up to your mat—and your life—with humility, patience, and compassion.

This week, give yourself permission to learn, to try, to stumble, and to begin again. Every day is a new opportunity to grow into who you’re becoming. 💛

Start where you are. Begin again.
