United Mitochondrial Disease Foundation UMDF SE WI Support Group The UMDF offers support to all sufferers of mitochondrial disorders regardless of diagnosis, suspected or confirmed. Additionally, profanity is not allowed.

UMDF has grown into a nationally recognized, non-profit organization and the Milwaukee Chapter works to advocate for the cause and support affected individuals. The goal of this Facebook Group is to connect those who are affected by mitochondrial disease and to provide them with an opportunity to network with one another and with friends, families and supporters in our area. If you or someone you care about are affected by mitochondrial disease, this group is for you! If you have questions about mitochondrial disease or are looking for a physician in your area, please contact the UMDF at info@umdf.org. Very Important - Personal attacks are not permitted on the list and anyone who sends one is automatically moderated or could be removed from the group, depending upon the severity of the post. We want this to be a positive zone for our patients and families. Constructive input is welcome but destructive/negative comments that may affect the UMDF Mission moving forward is not -- and could be grounds for removal of the group member.
