The Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin health network is proud to launch something new. It’s called the Maternal Mobile Clinic — a one-of-a-kind service that brings care into local communities to support mothers with safe and accessible care.

Maternal Mobile Clinic Services:
The intent is to help patients feel comfortable coming to access health care, so we can have healthy moms and ultimately then we’ll get healthy babies. This mobile clinic offers prenatal care, postnatal care, STI screening, cervical cancer screening and vaccinations. It also offers breastfeeding support and psychiatric care. It basically offers anything that a new pregnant mom would potentially need.

We are thrilled to have Dr. Louis Muglia, President and CEO of the Burroughs Wellcome Fund, an independent
nonprofit research foundation in Research Triangle Park accelerating discovery in the biomedical
sciences. Lou’s research focus has been to understand the molecular pathways determining when birth occurs to prevent preterm birth and better treat human preterm labor and delivery, considering both genetic and environmental factors.
He's here visiting us to talk about "The best time to be Born" - a talk on understanding the molecular
pathways determining when birth occurs to prevent preterm birth and better treat human preterm
labor and delivery, considering both genetic and environmental factors. And also to talk to us on "Funding Opportunities with the Burroughs Wellcome Fund", an independent nonprofit research foundation in Research Triangle Park accelerating discovery in the biomedical sciences.
