Somehow nearly a decade has flown by since we met. My first baby. My little girl. You are so kind, smart, observant, funny, athletic, thoughtful, loving and all the good stuff wrapped up in beautiful curls and crop tops.

Always be you. You are a beautiful soul and I know you’ll do earth-changing things in your life.

03 | marzo

Looking back, March was beautiful.

The kids got to experience their first admirals game (thanks, Dad!), we supported and learned about young onset dementia, there was pi(e) and fries and A/B soda tests, popcorn + wine + love is blind. I saw the best concert ever, planted some seeds with the girls, navigated another egg hunt and felt the warm return of fresh air. Also, a book and a massage 💆🏽‍♀️

✨I feel very thankful for a job that lets me work from the auto shop (as needed).
✨I’m very thankful I got to see my sissy on her birthday, even if it was just for a birthday hug and 5 minute chat 🥰
✨I am so thankful for all of the sunshine ☀️
✨I felt immense joy at the Hoxton in Chicago thanks to their water filling stations in the hallways (all hotels should do this!!) also the art was pretty

Q1: you taught me resilience, how to notice the glimmers and say the gratitudes out loud, and how to enjoy the moment (still practicing… but getting there)

Happy International Women’s Day 🌻

I feel incredibly grateful for the amazing women in my life. The ones who came before us and paved the way. The ones beside me who inspire me with their wisdom, resilience, and love ♥️ I learn so much from watching how they lead, care for others, and show up with strength in so many different ways 🫶🏼

Strength shows up in many forms. In how we support each other, how we keep going, and how we grow. Lately I’ve also been reminded of strength in a more literal way too 💪🏽 The kind you build in the gym and the quiet confidence that comes with realizing you are stronger than you once thought 😏

I’m especially thankful to be raising two incredible girls who are growing up surrounded by strong women and strong examples 💕 I hope they carry that forward and continue leading the way with courage, kindness, and conviction ✨

some of the sweetest things I’ve known

• friends intentionally ordering gf food at parties + giving me the left overs 🥰
• honeybee sage. period.
• my kids when they read (or in this case, “read”)
• valentines party hosted and attended by the bestest friends
• this berry organizer is life changing. true example of the little things bringing joy. shoutout
• crafting + celebrating
• sunshine + park days in feb
• vegan twix bar (shout out )
• flowers + ice cream on a tough day, sent from Italy, delivered by bestest friends (not pictured round 2 of goodies that arrived the next morning ♥️)
• book #5 for the year ✅
• the next three slides represent balance 😅 goodles gf mac w/tea, sweetgreen 😋 shroomami, happy hour cocktails + catch up chats 🤩
• using a Christmas gift for the first time on another sunny february day ☀️
• lunch dates with the big kid incl. choco factory relish tray goodies
• benching 90 # for 4 reps x 3 sets. Here I come 95 # 💪🏽

• not pictured, the bestest friends who crafted a schedule to allow me time to workout while hubs was out of town for 3 weeks ♥️

despite february’s challenges, it was sweet 🫶🏼

the things that brought me joy + love + (many) tears of gratitude. it really is the little things and i hope i can keep that in mind all year long ✨

started the year with friends turned family.
the candy shop in streets of old milwaukee was open.
sushi.
domes with 12 days of christmas decor.
movies mid-week and love in the form of food from neighbors.
then there was sunshine with a spot of rainbow and dancing in the living room and homemade bookmarks from kiddos (and i read 3.5 books!).
ginger fizz changed my life and coffee dates, so nice.
hip hop + candlelight + string quartets = incredible.
a trip to miami brought sunshine and outdoor workouts and boomerangs and even closer friendships reminding me just how loved i am.
how did i get so lucky.

praise God for it all. the opportunities, the blessings, the joy and the tears (so many tears.. why?!? 😅). cheers to it all, let’s see what febrero has in store 👏🏽

december ❄️

she arrived like a fast, furious snow squall ☃️ no time to slow down, look up, or even think. days blurred together and somehow moved faster than ever before.

once everything settled and i looked back, it was beautiful. a month full of love, togetherness, friendship, birthdays, celebrations, family, and dirty martinis 🍸

i’ll be attempting an analog january - see ya in Feb ✌🏽📚🧩🏋🏾‍♀️🚶🏽‍♀️🛼✈️

S I X 🎈

It doesn’t feel real that you’re turning six. It feels like you’re still my little chunky baby girl and also you’re my 16 year old teenager wrapped in to one.

Your hands and feet are still small but your words and thoughts are getting so big. You are so fun, so creative, so loving, so silly, so thoughtful, so helpful, such a hard worker and so smart. You love music, you radiate joy, you are such a kind and caring friend, sister, daughter.

You are so wonderful.

Mr. Malcolm, you are such a light. I am so grateful for you. You bring such joy to our family. You love sports, super hero’s, dinosaurs, your friends and family. You are so easy to celebrate because you are such a pure heart.

july is the best month + this year was no different.

✨ birthday celebrations that lasted a week
✨ family adventures
✨ sister time (we missed you rachie) 🎆
✨ fitness, friends + fab food w/ the ladies
✨ toys from (the girls new favorite doll)
✨ simple pleasures like baby slippers and water-splash smiley faces and rainbows
✨ jazz in the *living room picnic dinners

really soaking in summer as much as possible + loving every minute with good food + good people ♥️

june was a vibe ✨

it’s 🦀 szn + i’m living my best life over here by living out experiences >>>>> everything

june was filled with community, live music, celebrating friend’s birthday’s, friends bringing surprise vegan/gf brownies the day you need one the most, live animals (at the zoo + in the wild), work milestones, baseball, mini golf achievements (hole in one + winning 😏), beaches, sunshine, sweat, reflection, learnings, prayer, and gratitude… so much gratitude.

i realize there is still one day left for the magic of june to shine tomorrow 💛 but i’m so content, so thankful, so grateful for all it brought.

+ i’m ready for you, july 👀😍🥳🌞🎉
