✨ Our Mix & Mingle event was a wonderful time! While we didn’t capture everyone in photos, we truly enjoyed connecting, sharing laughs, sipping holiday drinks, and creating gingerbread houses together. Grateful for the great company and wishing everyone a happy holiday season! 🎄🤍

Last week was all about spending quality time with our staff and our fur babies (Heidi & Lenny). Maddie, our Director of Clinical Services, provided education on fit testing, proper handwashing, and PPE use. We’re grateful for the opportunity to learn, connect, and continue supporting one another as a team.

Felix, my Frenchie joined me at work today, and his day was packed with nonstop pets and cuddles. He visited a few of the communities we serve to meet staff and residents—and our Azura Support Center team made sure he got even more love (special shout-out to Landon in HR!). Felix is officially worn out after all those snuggles!

Meet Tom, our Chaplain!

“My name is Chaplain Tom Swartz, and I’m honored to be part of the Azura Hospice team. I’ve served as a hospice chaplain in both Madison, WI and Prescott, AZ. I hold a Master’s in Theology from Bethel Seminary in St. Paul, MN and a Doctor of Ministry from Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA.

My “why” for hospice is deeply personal—when my own father was on hospice, the communication with my mother was so poor that it left a lasting impact. I chose this work to ensure no family I serve ever feels that way. Compassion, clarity, and support are at the heart of my calling.”

Raya is one of our amazing volunteers here at Azura Hospice! She’s currently a nursing student, soon to graduate, with her sights set on becoming an RN Case Manager. We’re so grateful for her compassion, dedication, and the warmth she brings to our team and those we serve. 💙
