I want to thank everyone again for thoughts, love, and prayers. After about 2 days Tennison was doing better. Unknown what really caused the bleeding but may have been from irritation. Lots of humidification helped. So glad he is feeling better, specifically because today is his FIRST day of FULL day school!!!! And what's better than PJ day at school, perfect day for that!
Tennison has been working up to going to school full days. He will begin with Thursday full days and we will increase from there up till the full school week!! So excited for this 💙💙💙

Unsure of current plan as we are waiting on a response from Children's to figure out next best steps.

What a fantastic, busy day! Today we headed to Milwaukee to grab lunch with Melissa Marney and attend follow up appointments at Children's.
Tennison has graduated from Neurology with Dr. Adams! Dr. Adams has been involved since pregnancy so this feels different and weird and good that Tenn has come so far!
Then we saw Dr. Sage with psychology. Tenn had fun playing in her office and seeing all of her fun toys! We usually do virtual visits, this was out first in office session.
Finally we ended our night with Hand-N-Hand of Northeastern Wisconsin, Inc. And visiting with more friends!
What a great day! Now for a good night's rest. 💙💙💙

I was reflecting today over the past 6 years. Tennison has come so far it's hard to believe at times. We are incredibly blessed with our miracle baby.
I love the pictures with brother and sister the most because these were moments I dreamed of. And now, these kiddos have such beautiful friendships, it's amazing to witness.
Brother and sister experienced such hardship during Tennison's hospital stay. They were able to visit for a few times prior to flu season restrictions in place and then as it was about to be lifted, well enter COVID-19. They were not able to see him from December 2019 till his discharge in June of 2020. Therefore, Google Meet was a life saver so they could enjoy video calls.
6 years has brought us so much laughter and fun!

On Monday Tennison received his Electrolarynx! He had his first session Tuesday with Children's Wisconsin speech pathologist.
We are excited for the new adventure and where it can lead.
Tennison will continue learning ASL and use esophageal speech. This is just one extra tool.
