Brady East STD Clinic

Brady East STD Clinic Created in 1974, the BESTD Clinic has been a not-for-profit organization serving all people in Milwaukee and surrounding counties.

Today, the clinic still serves the community as a resource to combat HIV and STDs through testing and education. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer we welcome you to stop in during clinic hours or to complete a volunteer application online. We also include information on common STDs on our website, recent HIV/STD news, as well as links to other sources of information you may find helpful. We are honored to receive the Health Equity Champion Award from Diverse & Resilient. We are so very proud to deliver high quality sexual health services for FREE. Reducing barriers is always at the center of our work and we know the cost of health is often the number one barrier. For 51 years, the mission hasn’t changed. Free, walk in testing and treatment for STDs and HIV.

Diverse & Resilient is proud to announce the 2025 Health Equity Champion Award recipient: Brady East STD Clinic

BESTD has long been a cornerstone in Milwaukee’s public health landscape, offering HIV/STI testing and care to LGBTQ+ communities, especially communities of color who have too often been overlooked by traditional healthcare systems. Their work is grounded in dignity, compassion, and an unwavering commitment to those most impacted by health inequities.

By expanding access and meeting people exactly where they are, BESTD continues to show what true public health leadership looks like. They remind us every day that prevention is care, and care is prevention; both essential for thriving, healthy q***r communities.

As we highlight BESTD’s impact, we also recognize the broader truth: this work cannot continue without community support.

Join us in honoring BESTD by supporting the Together for Resilience Campaign. Your donation sustains the prevention work, care systems, and community programs our LGBTQ+ communities of color rely on.
