Today we celebrate Julie K who CRUSHED the Cleveland Marathon yesterday, clocking her second fastest time of 4:10! Julie persevered through a training season that tossed some obstacles in her path. Want some Monday Motivation? Letโ€™s get inspired by FOUR RunFitters who took to the Brew City Marathon races this weekend and walked away with FOUR personal bests! ๐Ÿ†๐Ÿ† ๐Ÿ†๐Ÿ†

First up, congratulations to Heather C. who set out to beat her previous half marathon PR and nailed it, crossing the line in 1:55! Heather has been attacking the full marathon distance in recent years, pulling in PR after PR, and now she has the Half under her belt to boot!๐Ÿ”ฅ

Second, congratulations to Allie L. who also brought a PR home in the Half, achieving a speedy 2:04! Itโ€™s pretty freakinโ€™ awesome when a 40+ year old body can best their times from 25 and 30! Youโ€™re a badass, Allie!! ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿป

Not to be outdone, give it up for Stacey G. and Aaron G., the dynamic mother-son duo who achieved PRs in the 10K distance. What makes this especially sweet is Stacey did this on the heels of an ACL repair just one year ago. Her and Aaron started training with RunFit to get back to enjoying running as a form of therapy - like many of us - and now theyโ€™re racking up the PRs. Congratulations!!! ๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿผโ€โ™€๏ธโ€โžก๏ธ๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿปโ€โžก๏ธ

Welcome to Motivation Monday!

RunFitters were in full force this weekend as part of the 2025 Milwaukee Marathon and we have some super inspirational stories to share.

First up, huge congratulations to Garrett S. for completing the full marathon and snagging a new (8-minute!) PR. Garrett trained for a half marathon last fall that was cancelled last minute due to storms. He then turned his attention to strength training at RunFit before he started his marathon training cycle with Coach Karen earlier this year. His commitment to becoming a complete athlete paid off in major ways! 3:11? YES, SIR! ๐Ÿ†

Second, congratulations to Barb M. and Mylah R. for completing the half marathon distance in style. These ladies passed the finish line and barely looked like they broke a sweat. Mylah is in the early phases of prepping for the Berlin Marathon this fall, and Barb is simply a racing force of nature! ๐Ÿ…

Finally, major props to Shelly G. who paced the 2:20 half marathon group, which is a major accomplishment in itself; but, she did it in the midst of training for a Half Ironman. Coach Karen has been throwing alllll the workouts at her and she is crushing it! Keep up the work, Shelly! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿป

A trial workout will then be scheduled to ensure your comfort level with the type of activities that will be recommended as part of your plan. We go through your current fitness levels, nutrition knowledge and diet before making any recommendations!
