Milwaukie Acupuncture will be cautiously opening for in person appointments this Tuesday, May 19th! I've put a lot of thought on how to do this responsibly, including requiring masks (both patient and practitioner), social distancing (only one patient and practitioner in the clinic at a time), careful sanitation procedures, and screening patients for their history of exposure and common symptoms of coronavirus. As always, please use your best judgment in balancing the risks of exposure with the possible benefits of treatment.

Thank you for your patience as we all navigate our new world after COVID-19! I know many of you are missing your regular acupuncture appointments. I'm currently finalizing the procedures that I will have in place to minimize the risk of coronavirus transmission once I resume treatments. Milwaukie Acupuncture is remaining open for the time being, but I'm also taking extra precautions in response to the coronavirus. I'm disinfecting shared surfaces before and after every patient visit as well as my usual thorough hand washing and changing of linens. I'm also practicing social distancing and canceling all non-essential contact to minimize my exposure.

I highly encourage you all to likewise avoid close contact and public spaces as much as possible. If that means postponing an upcoming appointment with me, please feel free to do so. It's better to take what may seem like extreme measures now than wish we had done so later.

Please use this time to catch up on rest, eat well, and otherwise take care of your health to boost your immunity. Be well!
