Marquis Companies was formed in June of 1989 by Phil Fogg, Jr., a fourth-generation long-term care professional, with the acquisition of the first skilled nursing facility, Columbia Manor. As a company, we operate assisted living facilities, post acute rehabilitation facilities, and home health care services. Our sister company, Consonus Healthcare Services, combines our well-established services into one unified company providing rehabilitation, pharmacy and consulting services. It is our goal, as a rehabilitation focused company, to get our patients back to a level of health that allows them to walk out our doors and back into their everyday lives. We do this by using progressive therapy techniques sourced through Accelerated Care Plus – one example includes our use of OmniVR, a virtual rehabilitation gaming system designed specifically for the type of patients rehabbing in our facilities. In addition to our facilities, pharmacy and rehabilitation services, we also offer Marquis At Home as an option for those wishing to receive care in the comfort of their own homes. Marquis at Home covers the entire spectrum of care including home health needs such as physical, occupational and speech therapy, along with skilled nursing services. In addition to medical care, staff are also happy to fill homemaking needs for clients including meals and shopping, personal hygiene, medication management and travel to medical appointments. This service is currently available to service the Portland metro area in Oregon. Marquis and Consonus are built on the belief that people are a collection of stories, and the story keeps getting better each day. We work with families and residents in determining what each individual needs to make the most of these days, ensuring that families can rest assured that their loved ones are under the best care. As a company, we encourage our staff to adhere to the guidelines set forth by The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services and its five star rating system to make certain that our facilities comply or exceed the three areas of evaluation: health inspections, staffing, and quality measures.
