Participants will earn 1 hour of virtual CE credit while learning how to research their market value, understand key terms (non-compete and termination clauses), assess the practice's workflow and production expectations, and the benefits of professional legal review.

Oregon joined 11 other states at the 2025 GWCO Congress, held Oct. 16–19 in Portland!

This year’s Congress drew 503 attendees - the highest turnout since the pandemic - and featured outstanding education, leadership, and recognition of excellence in optometry.

Special shoutout to Dr. Ashley McFerron, Oregon Director on GWCO’s board, and OOPA presenters Dr. Margaret Foley, Brandy Yeack, and Dr. Mila Ioussifova.

Congratulations to this year’s honorees, and we look forward to next year’s Congress, Oct. 15–18, 2026, back at the Portland Marriott Downtown Waterfront!

You're invited to discover science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) with Girl Scouts! Taking place in Salem, OR on November 8 for STEM Day to discover hands-on STEM activities and meet professionals working in STEM careers—robotics, engineering, aviation and space science, construction, animal science, and SO much more. STEM Day is open to everyone—you don’t have to be a Girl Scout to attend.
