When Verne and Maria first met at eliseo, they were each focused on their own recovery journeys. In their parallel challenges and triumphs, they built a relationship on empathy, encouragement, and the determination it takes to grow stronger.

Two years later, Verne and Maria returned to the very rehab gym they met in, to say "I do." Surrounded by staff, family, and friends, they vowed to keep each other strong in heart, health, and motion. 💙

How many Consonus therapists does it take to lift a senior veteran into a plane? Just one mighty team. 💪✈️

This week, we joined Vital Life Foundation and Dream Flights at the event in Las Vegas to help senior veterans experience the thrill of flight!

It took teamwork, strength, and careful planning to help each veteran into the cockpit of a restored WWII biplane. Lifting and supporting someone into such a small space requires skill, coordination, and trust, and our therapists delivered all three.

Meet Kobe Real, a Physical Therapist at Channing House. During his clinical rotation with Consonus, Kobe experienced the unique rewards of working in a CCRC — treating patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

From Student to Team Member: Meet Kimi Marin, a Physical Therapist Assistant at Marquis Mill Park.

Kimi first joined us as a clinical student through Mt. Hood Community College — and her experience made a lasting impression: “I liked the support I received from everyone. I felt very welcomed and included.”

That support inspired her to come back after graduation: “All the employees were happy and really cared about the residents. I knew this was a company that really cared, and I wanted to be a part of it.”
