We want to give a special shout to this woman right here. For the ones who don’t know her, this is Estelle. She is currently doing our 6 week Marco Challenge that started on the 9th. In our challenge we are focusing on making sure everyone is fueling their body’s properly with carbs, protein and fats. Estelle has been rocking this challenge and has been hitting new PRs back to back in all categories!! Today she deadlifted 180lbs!!!

Only 10 days left until the Ragnarok Strength and Fitness 6-week nutrition challenge begins.

No matter the goal, tracking your CUSTOMIZED macros can get you closer to it!

Here’s a reminder of the important info you need to know:

Start date: March 4th
Kick-off Meeting: Saturday, March 2nd, 10-11:30am
Length: 6 weeks
Price: $150

Good evening,

We are excited to announce that we will be running a Macro-based Nutrition Challenge starting in March. This is the first time we are offering the type of challenge and while Macro counting can be somewhat more advanced (we will teach you!) it is the more accurate way of getting results from your nutrition.

What is Macro Counting?

Tracking macros, short for macronutrients, involves monitoring and managing the intake of three essential nutrients in your diet: proteins, carbohydrates, and fats.

Here are several reasons why people choose to track macros:

The term “full range of motion” (ROM) in the context of exercise refers to the complete movement of a joint or muscle during an exercise. It implies that an individual is performing a movement that allows the involved joints to move through their entire anatomical range, from the starting position to the end position and back again.

When you perform exercises with a full range of motion, you ensure that you engage and strengthen the muscles throughout their entire length. This can contribute to improved flexibility, joint mobility, and overall functional fitness. It also helps prevent the development of muscle imbalances and promotes better joint health.

Conversely, limiting the range of motion during exercises, either intentionally or unintentionally, can restrict the benefits of the exercise and may contribute to imbalances or joint issues over time. It’s essential to use proper form and technique to achieve a full range of motion while considering individual fitness levels and any existing health concerns or limitations.

Crispy Chicken
Burgers

Macros per serving
441 calories
42g protein | 39g carbs | 13g fat
(Macros do not include veggies & bolthouse farms classic ranch)

Ingredients (2-4 burgers)

Chicken:
Chicken breast cut into thin fillets
(100g raw each)
1 tsp smoked paprika
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp garlic powder

For the crumbs:
50g crushed cornflakes (Brand: Kellog’s)
1 tsp smoked paprika
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder

Special sauce:
30g light or fat free mayo
(Brand: Hellman’s)
15g sriracha
1/2 tsp mustard
1/2 tsp garlic powder

Burger (can make more than 1):
Brioche buns
(Brand: Aldi - 160 calories each)
15g special sauce
Lettuce
Thin slice of tomato
Crispy chicken fillet
Thin sliced cheese
Pickles

How to make:

1. Butterfly cut the chicken breast into thinner fillets. Season both sides with smoked paprika, onion powder and garlic powder. Mix and rub the spices in.

2. In a bowl add crushed cornflakes with the same seasonings as the chicken. In a separate bowl crack 2 eggs and whisk.

3. Grab the chicken pieces, dip into the egg wash then into the crumbs making sure it’s completely coated then place onto a baking tray (use a wired rack if possible).

4. Bake in the oven (18-20 mins at 200°C/390°F) or air fry (18 mins at
180°C/360°F) the breaded chicken.

5. Assemble the burger, toast the brioche buns, add the special sauce, lettuce, tomato, crispy chicken, light cheese and pickles. You’re ready to serve & enjoy
