Rural Living Energy Center Welcome to Rural Living Energy Center! Specializing in outdoor reiki experiences in north central Louisiana. I can also come to you. We're set up for that too.

Located on the grounds of Right Lead Equestrian Center. Imagine experiencing the ancient Japanese relaxation and healing technique of reiki under the full moon, surrounded by nature. You never know who might show up during your session: lightning bugs, dragon flies, croaking frogs, chirping crickets, deer, the barn cat. Horses live on the property; if they don't join us you'll probably be able to hear them. Rural Living and Right Lead are far enough from the city for you to enjoy the constellations and the occasional meteor shower if the sky is clear. The top 2 choices for sessions here are the "big field" and the pier at the pond. Maybe you have a garden or a pool area that you love to spend time in? Maybe you have a special occasion? Mini-sessions available for girls’ night out, wedding parties, low key bachelorette parties. Does your animal friend need a session? Haul-in's for horses, or home visits for small animals and animals that can't travel. Lesson/session combinations for the rider looking for a deeper connection with their horse. here are 9 ways to improve the energy around (and within) you in under 5 minutes…

make your bed = first success of the day, or what I like to call ‘starting the day off on a high note!’

open the windows = “out with the old, in with the new!” – a good wind-wash is one of the easiest way to clear energy out there!

dust your plants’ leaves = if they breathe easier, so do you!

keep the toilet seats down = in shui, this is said to protect wealth energy. need I say more?

replace a burned-out lightbulb = keeps you from feeling burned out, and it ensures you’re not “in the dark”!

get rid of something broken or struggling – you don’t want to be under that kind of influence, do you?

give your front door mat a good shake – this is where opportunity lands, so make it feel welcome and invited!

sprinkle some salt in your wallet = salt attracts energy, and your wallet is a home to money. or, in other words, a power couple!

I'm sure you've heard of Reflexology, or zone therapy. It is an alternative medicine involving the physical act of manipulating or applying pressure to the feet,( hands, or ears) to improve health. It is thought that certain areas on the foot correspond to areas of the body, and that by manipulating these one can improve health.

Here's an interesting chart using that same theme only applying it to our dogs. By gently applying pressure on specific areas of your dog's feet, it's thought that you can alleviate pain and expedite healing.

I find things like this fascinating. And believe me, when your dog is ailing you are willing to try anything to help ease their discomfort.
