🧸🐻 Growing the Teddy Bear Clinic Experience! 🐻🧸

For the past four months, Busy Bee Pediatrics has been bringing Teddy Bear Clinics to schools and daycare centers across Webster Parish and surrounding areas. This month, Minden Medical Clinic of Haughton Pediatrics has joined the initiative—helping us expand into Bossier Parish and beyond! 💜

These clinics are designed for children in Pre-K through 1st grade, giving them the opportunity to bring their favorite stuffed friend aboard the eMD mobile unit for a “check-up.” Through this experience, our teams create a calm, fun, and educational environment that helps reduce fear and prepare children for real clinic visits.

To ensure every child can participate, teddy bears are provided to students in need on the day of the clinic. On behalf of Busy Bee Pediatrics, MMCH Pediatrics, and our partners Minden Medical Center, eMD HealthTalk, Allegiance Home Health | Hospice & Palliative Care, we extend a heartfelt thank you to the Dorcas Sewing Ministry of First Baptist Church Minden for generously donating 50 teddy bears. Your kindness is helping us make a meaningful impact—one smile at a time. 🧸💜

We had such a wonderful time at the Arms Around Autism Acceptance Walk today! 💙

We’re excited to join our friends at the Webster Parish Library this afternoon! 🐝📚

Dr. Sarah M. McNeill will be at the Webster Parish Library - Minden Branch today for an interactive story time at 4:00 PM.

Families are invited to bring their little ones for a fun afternoon of stories, learning, and community time together.

We hope to see you there!

Join us, March 5th at your Webster Parish Libraries Minden Branch for a special Dr. Seuss storytime in partnership with Busy Bee Pediatrics! Our special guest reader, Dr. Sarah McNeill, will read Oh, the Things You Can Do That Are Good for You! along with another favorite Dr. Seuss story. After the stories, kids will enjoy a fun handwashing demonstration and get moving with a live-action game of Operation using Dr. Seuss-themed cut-outs. It's a playful way to celebrate reading while learning healthy habits!
