Alley approach paving is set to begin Thursday November 20th to address drainage and erosion issues.

Seven alley approaches West of Brady Street are scheduled to be paved this year.

The following are listed in this year’s project:

5th Street between Park and Broadway, South side.

4th Street between Park and Broadway, both sides.

4th Street between Broadway and Brady, South side only.

3rd Street between Lincoln and Park, both sides.

3rd Street between Park and Broadway, North side.

This will be a several day project and weather permitting.

Alley access will be always made available from one end of the alley.

We ask for your patience and to remain alert for equipment and workers in these areas!

The City of Minden wants to thank Re*****on Seed Company for sending volunteers to help with our tornado recovery. Some were busy painting the gazebo in the park, while others were picking up debris in the ditches. We appreciate all of their hard work.

The City of Minden is NOT in a boil advisory. Anybody that gets a city water bill does not have to worry about this.
