Congratulations to Marrissa Crites for receiving this month's "Bethany Home Hero" award. Marissa works in housekeeping on the nursing side. The staff member who nominated Marissa stated, Marissa is always here and on time with a smile on her face. Marissa's co-workers say you work hard and are always loving and kind to the residents and staff.

One evening, residents enjoyed going out for a ride to see all the pretty Christmas lights around town. Lots of reminiscing was spoken among everyone. They love driving around the courthouse and sharing stories about when they went to the Christmas pageant as a family or when their children were in the pageant and some even said themselves. 5 Acre Christmas in the country, was enjoyed as well, especially the doll house. Our last stop of the evening, was at Dr. Doug and Angie Althouse place. Residents were greeted with Christmas greetings and a delicious homemade sugar cookie. Thank you, Dr. Doug and Angie!!
