Adding consistent stretching to your wellness routine goes beyond warming up before a workout. You know what I'm talking about: Pull your arms across your chest. Pull your heels to your butt, shake it out a little and then we're all stretched out and ready to go, right?
Perhaps we can do better. We all probably know we need to stretch more. Stretching is simply a means to improve your overall wellness, and a way to move better and feel better. The goal is not just flexibility but PLIABILITY. We want to improve your range of motion comfortably, fluidly, without pain or tension. Stretching and mobility helps increase circulation, improves posture while reducing soreness. Combined with hydration, stretching and mobility work help us to not only move better, but really feel well!
Our in house Massage Therapist and Stretch Specialist, Lenore, is hosting guided stretching classes! In these classes, Lenore will take us through a full body stretch routine that will help increase our muscular range of motion, to gain that pliability and circulation that we can thrive on!
Lenore also offers one on one Assisted Stretching where you can receive all the benefits of stretching, but Lenore does all the work. Ask her for details!
