Yesterday, Marine Bureau and Aviation held their annual picnic at Tobay Marina. They enjoyed great music from the band, outstanding food, and the kids had fun going overboard on Marine 6!

This past weekend, members from the 1st, 4th, and 7th Precincts held their annual picnic at Camp Coleman. The representatives from their respective commands worked hard feeding and creating a fun filled event for the families of their members!

Members of Nassau County PBA Executive Board joined Nassau County Executive Bruce Blakeman and the Nassau County Police Department at the unveiling of a street renaming in honor of Detective Michael Kearns who we lost as a result of 9/11 cancer. We will his sacrifice and are forever grateful for his service.

Earlier this week, members of the Nassau PBA joined the family of Charles D. Cole Jr. for a street renaming ceremony in his honor. These street renaming's are taking place across the county in recognition of the sacrifices made by the fallen officers of the Nassau County Police Department. Thank you to all who are helping to honor these heroes.

We are deeply saddened by the tragic loss of NYPD Police Officer Didarul Islam and promise to the sacrifice he made to protect New York from danger.

Police Officer Didarul Islam represents the very best of our department.

He was protecting New Yorkers from danger when his life was tragically cut short today.

We join in prayer during this time of incomprehensible pain. We will forever honor his legacy.

Over the weekend, members of the PBA Executive Board, 2nd Pct PBA Reps, and members of the 2nd Pct stood side by side with the family of P.O Robert D. Negri Jr. during a street renaming ceremony.

The corner of Crossways Park Dr. and Crossways Park Dr. W. was renamed in P.O Negri’s memory. Thank you to all the members of the Department and local representatives who worked to celebrate the sacrifice of this hero who lost his life as a result of 9/11 related cancer.

Yesterday, in an effort to continue to make the safest county in America, we joined Attorney General Pam Bondi and Nassau County Executive Bruce Blakeman in a ribbon cutting ceremony for the Nassau County Police Department's new Elite Training Village that will further train our members.
