How many of us have carried the weight of others’ perceptions? Lived our lives shaped by people who never truly saw us for who we are? Maybe it was a parent, a partner, a boss, or even society at large that made us feel small, invisible, or somehow not enough. But here’s the thing: their vision of you is not the truth of who you are. The opinions of those who couldn’t appreciate your light should never define your worth.
True freedom comes when we let go of the need to be seen by others and start seeing ourselves clearly—through eyes of compassion, love, and understanding. It’s about unlearning the narratives that told you to be quiet, to shrink, to fit in. It’s about reconnecting with the person you’ve always been beneath the layers of doubt and expectation.
When you look at yourself, do you recognize your own strength, beauty, and resilience? Do you allow yourself to see the depth of your spirit, the wisdom that comes from your journey, and the grace in your imperfections?
This is the work—the journey back to yourself. May you step into a space where you see yourself, fully and without judgment. Because the truest power is found when we stop trying to be what others want and embrace exactly who we are. ꩜🕊️♥︎ Ella
