November is Pulmonary Hypertension (PH) Awareness Month, dedicated to raising awareness about the rare, chronic and life-threatening lung disease. PH is a serious condition of high blood pressure in the arteries of the lungs, which makes the right side of the heart work harder to pump blood and can lead to heart failure.

Common symptoms for PH include shortness of breath, fatigue, dizziness, chest pain and swelling in the ankles and legs. Please talk to your primary care provider if you experience any of these symptoms. To schedule an appointment, call 903-596-DOCS.
