We are excited to pair with Tusky Valley Local Schools for our another PK Clubhouse event. Tusky Valley families with children ages 2-5 are invited to join us on Thursday, January 29th at 11:30 am in the Trojan Center at TVES. Our team will be present to offer an engaging story and activities centered around fine motor school readiness. Free lunch will be provided for district students. The Tuscarawas County Sheriff's Office is proud to support the Blue envelope program in partnership with the Tuscarawas County Board of Developmental Disabilities.

The Blue envelope packet is available for free at the Tusc BDD.

The program introduces the Blue Envelope Packet, available for free at the Tusc BDD Service and Support Center to people with developmental disabilities.

The packet includes several items, first and foremost the Blue Envelope. This envelope can be used to store documentation of the driver/passenger such as copies of ID, vehicle registration, and insurance. The front of the envelope provides enough space to detail any information regarding someone’s disability/medical condition that a law enforcement officer or first responder may find useful. In the event of a traffic stop or similar interaction, the driver or passenger can provide the officer with their Blue Envelope in order to easily communicate important information. If someone is away from their vehicle and does not have access to their Blue Envelope, a wallet card containing important information to help in any situation is also provided. The packet also includes a Blue Envelope car decal that can inform officers/first responders beforehand that a driver or passenger in a vehicle may be part of the Blue Envelope Program and have a developmental disability. Finally, a program brochure containing all information needed to use the contents of the packet is included.

We are excited to launch our new program, PreK Clubhouse with an event at Tusky Valley. We invite Tusky Valley local families with preschool age children (3-5) to join us for a night geared for you. Nest therapists will lead activities focusing on self-regulation, attention, and listening skills. We hope to see you in the Trojan center at TVES on the Nov 20th at 6pm.

Nest is excited to participate in the ECOESC's 25th Annual Family Reading Festival. Children ages birth to 8th grade are invited to New Towne Mall in New Philadelphia on Nov 8th. Plan to join in the fun with activities, drawings, and a free book. This year's theme is "Reading is Super!" Stop by and say hi!
