Our medical practice is looking for an accounts payable / receivable specialist. We are looking to pay a percentage on all accounts collected (1-3 years in age). This candidate will be eligible for a market rate commission to collect on all past due accounts. The candidate must be knowledgeable in medical billing and collections, HIPAA compliant and has the ability to work remotely as well as autonomously. Job responsibilities will include greeting patients, scheduling appointments, surgeries, answering phone calls, selecting and ordering supplies and equipment with guidance from the physician, conducting preauthorization, billing and coding.

Must be proficient with technology including Microsoft Office and various EMR/billing systems (eclinical works preferred). Must maintain an appropriate office environment.

General Surgery and Wound Management specialty clinic seeks a new medical assistant/LVN.
Qualified candidates will be responsible for all back office duties as needed by the physician, to include but not limited to: telephone triage, rooming patients, taking vitals and patient history, cleaning and stocking rooms, maintaining a clean work environment, medication refills, setting up and assisting with minor procedures, EHR documentation, and all other clinical duties as needed.

Must be able to do the following:

Make observations of the general physical condition of the patient and notify the physician of abnormalities

Knowledge of medical terminology.

Excellent bedside manner and ability to make patients feel at ease. Appears friendly, reassuring and approachable to patients.

Ability to take instruction from a doctor.

Familiarity with medical charts and electronic records.

High attention to detail.
