Nicki's Critters COME LEARN AND GROW WITH FUN!!! About Myself:
I was born and raised in Mineral Wells, Texas. We are participants of a USDA food program.

I attended a year at Tarleton State University and a year and a half at Weatherford College where my main focus was Business Administration and Child Development. I have a Child Care Administrators Credential issued through ECMI and have been through numerous child development seminars and courses. I have worked in daycare since I was 16 and have always enjoyed being with children. I look forward to providing your child with a happy place to be at and getting to know you and your family! About our Staff:
We are licensed by the state and Department of Human Resources and every year we are observed and evaluated to ensure that we meet all the standards for program content, space, capacity, staff to child ratio, and overall structure. All members of the staff have a criminal background check and fingerprints taken to ensure the safety and protection of your child. All staff is CPR and First Aid certified. My child care program is semi-structured with individual activities, group activities, supervised free time, and supervised outdoor play. Many of these daily activities will focus on early learning skills such as letters, numbers, colors, and shapes.

I would like to thank everyone that came out and supported our fundraiser today!! And a very HUGE special shout out to my Critter Crew that showed up last night, this morning and endured the heat all day helping make this successful!!! We were able to raise just under $1000 to go towards our kitchen remodel balance!!! Thank you alll again!!!!

Dear Parents,
With the increasing likelihood of winter weather in our area Thursday and Friday, I would like to take this opportunity to remind everyone of our inclement weather policy which can also be found in our Family Handbook.

While we will do our best to remain open, we take the safety of our staff and families very seriously. We will be keeping an eye on the forecast and will give as much notice as possible if we will be unable to open the center. If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to call or message me!

All of our communication will be done through the Brightwheel app so please be sure you have the app downloaded and are able to receive messages!

Extreme Weather Closings
If the weather starts to become hazardous for safe travel to and from the center, we will notify all parents in a timely manner, for your children to be picked up early. We will also notify all parents if we have to be closed or have a delayed opening due to any weather-related issues. If at any time we are without power or running water, it is a mandatory requirement to be closed, per the Minimum Standards. We understand the inconvenience this may cause and always strive to be open as much as possible but value the safety of our employees, children, and families above all.
