I’ve ALWAYS been labeled the “crazy” one, no matter what circle I’m running in. I’ve come to embrace it, life would be kinda boring with out the crazy…don’t ya think? So I’m very nurturing by nature…haha While I care deeply for people, my passion is with caring for animals. (I worked at an animal hospital for 18 years.) We can now see clearly why so many people and animals are having dis-ease. (insert soap box here) Everything our bodies need to live in homeostasis comes from nature. The media and government are being forced by the big dollar companies to keep us toxic so we need or “think” we need what they are selling. We decided to take back the power of attorney over our family (and pets) by doing our own research and relying on what God has provided us in nature. I am currently working to receive my certification as a Small Animal Health Coach in Animal Naturopathy, so I can help others learn for their own pets.

Getting to know essential oils on a deeper level is truly a wonderful way to connect with nature in our modern day world. Let's face it, as much as we would love to hike and connect to nature everyday, it's just not the reality for the majority of us.

I have been expanding my relationship with these beautiful little bottles. How do the elements relate to your overall wellbeing?
1) Mental Wellness {Water Element} Nurturing our mental health is more important than ever before due to over the overstimulation of our modern life.

2) Physical Health {Wood Element} Taking care of our physical health is about taking action everyday to make sure our bodies are in its best possible condition to detox the chemicals we are exposed to non stop.

3) Social Connections {Fire Element} Building and maintaining healthy relationships with others is vital to our overall wellbeing. Our modern way of living is working to disconnect us more than ever from each other.

4) Nourishment {Earth Element} Nourishing our body, mind & spirit plays a significant role in our over all wellbeing and managing the stress of our modern day life.

As the snow blankets the world in its serene white, and winter making you a little stir crazy? Or are you in your element hibernating and numbing out at every chance you get? I have to say I am more the second one......but I am working on honoring this season in more productive ways.

Beyond the cold, there's a certain magic in the air – a reminder to go within and nourish our mental well-being.

Winter teaches us the importance of stillness, just like nature takes a pause to rejuvenate. Amidst the quiet landscapes, find solace in self-reflection. Confession: I used to really dislike Winter season even to the point of seasonal depression. I am now fortunate enough to understand the blessing it brings to enrich our lives.

I love the exploding energy surrounding the New Year, but noticed how quickly this energy would drastically decrease within the first couple weeks of the year.

The last couple years I have embraced that this is still the season of Winter and this is not necessarily the time to go ALL in on my goals.

However, I am still dreaming and envisioning how I want this year to FEEL. (this is my moodboard for the year)

There is a time for planning and action, but for now I am savoring and enjoying the Inner Wisom this season offers.
