Regaining control of your health is emotional.

Working out is an emotional release for many people!

I’ve had clients cry during sessions.

Too often in life we dissociate from our bodies. But when we’re exercising we FEEL everything.

Emotions come pouring out.

We start to feel in tune with our body & mind becoming aware of our feelings.

This type of emotional release during exercise often is rooted from anger, sadness, anxiety, and/or depression.

What follows these releases is critical.⬇️

*siri voice*🗣 “First, you must have a productive building phase. You must increase food, specifically carbohydrates, lift heavy weights, and increase body fat. Then, you can diet down & achieve a lean, dense physique. Does that answer your question?”

In all seriousness, both physiques require a DETAILED PLAN, a LONG ENOUGH time frame, & HARD WORK.👏🏻

But typically only 1 of these physiques is applauded.

If you want to be lean & have your muscle show (AKA be “tone”) you have to build a frame first.💪

2015/16 ➡️ teenage girl hitting her first back pose ever. Dreaming of the stage. Seemed like a distant dream.2016/17 ➡️ ...

2015/16 ➡️ teenage girl hitting her first back pose ever. Dreaming of the stage. Seemed like a distant dream.

2016/17 ➡️ bulked and began prep. Repeatedly sick, repeatedly getting herniated discs/Meralgia paresthetica issues, mentally not ready. Stopped prep and stopped working with coach.

*went to college and prioritized school, work, friends, college experience over health and fitness. Got my heaviest I’ve ever been.*

2018 ➡️ started working with coach again. Did a photoshoot. Still wasn’t “ready” for prep. Photoshoot was step #1 of demonstrating how well I could stick to a strict diet. End results, I couldn’t do it 100%. I looked “fine” for photoshoot but still, not “ready” for prep.

2019 ➡️ was closer to being mentally ready for prep. I did prep. I competed in the NPC Brew City and did not place well. & that’s because I wasn’t on plan 100%. But, it was a step closer.

2019 continued…➡️ my coach expressed the importance of a reverse diet after my show. I didn’t care how important it supposedly was. I again, stopped working with him and binge ate for months. It took a full year for me to have a decent relationship with food.

2020 ➡️ got back into a workout routine and got a solid handle on my nutrition independently. I felt the strongest mentally and physically.

2020/21 ➡️ started working with coach AGAIN. This time to do the damn thing. I did a REAL PREP. & what happened? I won 2 overalls and competed nationally.

Random facts about me🤎✨

I have now been a Minneapolis resident for 1 year & what a year it has been 😅

My last job was as a probation officer. I LOVED everything about it. I really felt like I was making a positive difference in the world first hand.🙏🏻

Energy drinks over coffee ALL DAY 😈

I have 3 satin robes because 👸🏻

I have to have sensitive/fragrance free lotion, soap, laundry detergent EVERYTHING because ya girl has contact dermatitis 😣

I currently can’t go without an iced green tea matcha with oat milk🥛🫖🤤

I’m sleeping by 10:30pm almosttttt every night 👵🏼

To travel to Australia is #1 on my bucket list.🦘

I’m quite shy & reserved unless I’ve been around you a handful of times. ☺️

My eyelashes are wispies. Can get almost anywhere.💕

Growing up I told my dad I was going to marry him because I love him so much. 🥺👨‍👧

Today is my off day, but I am still going to move my body by getting in 10,000 steps, doing my rehab core exercises & stretching for at least 15 minutes because it helps my mental state, my tight muscles need to be stretched & I feel refreshed & rejuvenated after light movement😇
