Erin is a compassionate therapist dedicated to creating a safe and respectful space for clients. She values strong therapeutic relationships and supports individuals in their growth journey with empathy and encouragement.

The Mental Edge is an 8-week therapeutic group designed to support teens in developing mental strength, emotional regulation, and performance strategies in a safe and structured environment.

Facilitated by licensed mental health professionals at Lilium Center, this group incorporates:

We’re thrilled to welcome Lauren Meaney, LMFT to the Clinical Provider Team at Lilium Center! Lauren brings deep experience and heartfelt dedication to her role as a Program Lead of our Child & Family Services Program, where she supports children, teens, and families with a systems-informed and strengths-based approach.

Lauren is passionate about partnering with families to create meaningful and lasting change. She believes in the power of trust, rapport, and collaboration—meeting each client where they are and walking alongside them through the therapeutic process. Her work is grounded in evidence-based practices and tailored to meet the developmental needs of each child, teen, or family she serves.

Lauren’s approach includes:

Janine brings a collaborative, empathetic, and strengths-based approach to therapy. She believes that building a trusting connection is the first step toward real growth and meaningful change.

She works with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and life stressors—offering a warm, safe space for healing and self-discovery. Janine is currently under the supervision of Lori Ekholm, MA, LMFT, while pursuing licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Minnesota.

Tamar is a Mental Performance Specialist and Master Resilience Trainer with over a decade of experience supporting individuals in high-pressure settings, including military and athletic environments. 💪

She offers a client-centered, resilience-focused approach to therapy—helping clients navigate anxiety, stress, transitions, and performance-related challenges with confidence and clarity.

Tamar is currently under the supervision of Jade Richter, LPCC, while pursuing licensure as a Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) and certification as a CMPC (Certified Mental Performance Consultant).

Therapist spotlight on Rachel Peterson, LAMFT

Clinical Provider Team @ Lilium Center

Rachel works with couples, individuals, and families to cope with hardship and achieve their goals.

Rachel brings a compassionate and client-centered approach to therapy, creating a safe space for healing and growth. She uses conversation, empathy, and creative outlets and humor to get through struggles. Rachel believes therapy should bring clarity, increase insight, and offer support in this ever changing, increasingly challenging world.

Her research has deepened her understanding of the complex dynamics that can arise when illness becomes a part of a family’s narrative.

Rachel is being supervised by Lori Ekholm MA LMFT at Lilium Center while she pursues her state licensure.

Right in the heart of the action—and loving every minute of it.

Today, Lilium Center proudly joined the Grand Old Day Parade festivities from our 1197 Grand Ave location in St. Paul.

We fired up a cozy bonfire, roasted s’mores, poured hot coffee, handed out free swag, passed around so much candy—and connected with an incredible crowd of neighbors, friends, and familiar faces.

Mental wellness isn’t just about care—it’s also about connection, joy, and community presence. 💛🔥

Say hello 👋 to Maggie Ritter, MSW, LGSW — a warm, affirming presence on the Lilium Center Clinical Team!

Fluent in both English and ASL, Maggie provides strengths-based, affirming therapy for D/deaf, hard-of-hearing, and hearing adults, with a special focus on supporting college students.

Maggie offers care rooted in respect, inclusion, and deep compassion. She works with adults (18+) as they navigate life transitions, identity, relationships, mental health challenges, and healing from loss or disconnection.

Treatment focus areas:
Anxiety, burnout & workplace trauma, depression, eating disorders, grief &
loss, relationship stress, and self-esteem.

Maggie is currently supervised by Tara Herrmann, MSW, LICSW, at Lilium Center while pursuing her Independent Clinical Social Work licensure through the Minnesota Board of Social Work.esteem concerns.
