Our thoughts and prayers are with the students, teachers, staff, and all members of the Annunciation community in the wake of the tragic event that occurred this morning.

The 2025 MN State Fair comes to Mount Olivet was once again, a huge hit with residents, families, and staff!! We cannot thank our Therapeutic Recreation department enough for planning and coordinating this yearly event.

Each month, we have an employee appreciation meal. Every shift is included and we rotate the day of the week it falls on. Our culinary department designs the menu and this month they knocked it out of the park, as always!

Happy 4th of July from Mount Olivet Home!

This week, we held a special July 4th Worship Service in our chapel. We honored residents who have served in the military with a featured performance by our resident bell choir!

Nothing says Summer more than a day of fishing on the lake! Mount Olivet Home residents enjoyed the day fishing on Lake Riley in Eden Prairie this week.

Let's go fishing has served over 200,000 seniors, veterans, and children.

The Eden Prairie Chapter is one of 17 affiliates of Let’s Go Fishing in Minnesota and Wisconsin. Let’s Go Fishing with seniors began in Willmar, Minnesota in 2002. Founder Joe Holm, and his wife Carolyn, envisioned an organization that would change lives by letting seniors and others experience the joy and freedom of being out on the water. All at NO COST.

Let’s Go Fishing Eden Prairie started in 2012 with a pontoon and no docks. They have grown to having 2 pontoons, docks, lifts, and storage sheds. In 2024, they served over 4,000 seniors, veterans, youth, and disabled.

Attention family and friends!!

Today only at 3pm we have an amazing opportunity to share with your loved ones in our very own Chapel.

Illusionist Josh Farley will be putting on a fantastic magic show for our residents and we invite all family members and friends to come join in on the fun!

We capped off a wonderful National Skilled Nursing Care Week with an ice cream truck for residents and staff! Earlier in the week we had popcorn, resident walks around the facility, whole house bingo, and grilled burgers for all to enjoy.

Shout out to our fantastic Therapeutic Recreation department for all of their hard work and planning!!

Recently, residents at Mount Olivet Careview Home and Mount Olivet Home were treated to a captivating experience thanks to a special visit from the University of Minnesota Raptor Center.

The 45-minute educational program brought the wonders of the wild indoors, featuring three stunning ambassador raptors: a sharp-eyed hawk, a mysterious owl, and the star of the show—a majestic bald eagle. With feathers ruffling just feet away, residents were thrilled to witness these magnificent birds up close, learning about their behaviors, habitats, and the important role they play in our ecosystem. It was a morning of awe, education, and unforgettable encounters.
