🎉 It’s Homecoming/Spirit Week at Saint Therese of Corcoran as we proudly celebrate our official 1-Year Anniversary!

🏈 On Sunday, residents and staff gathered in the Winner’s Circle for Jersey Day, cheering on the Vikings and enjoying a resident-prepared potluck to kick off the week.
😴 Monday’s theme was Pajama Day, complete with a cozy movie night featuring Hairspray. Residents relaxed in their PJs, shared sweet treats, and enjoyed plenty of laughter together.

This week of fun and togetherness has been a wonderful way to honor our first year as part of Saint Therese and the larger Corcoran community. 💜

The cookie contest at Saint Therese of Corcoran was a hit! 🍪 Residents baked and enjoyed some tasty treats (and added some new recipes to their collection). Congrats to all who participated!

Spirits were high and the weather was gorgeous in late August for our penultimate Summer Concert Soundwave Series at Saint Therese of Corcoran! Residents, staff and family members enjoyed the band Palomino Breeze.

One more concert to go on Sept. 30! Come on out!

Our Saint Therese of Corcoran community recently enjoyed a unique opportunity to learn more about and try Saori weaving. This engaging activity encourages creativity and self-expression. Residents crafted beautiful, one-of-a-kind textiles, showcasing the endless possibilities of artistic exploration. If you didn't know, Saori Weaving a Japanese freestyle hand weaving method founded by Misao Jo that emphasizes self-expression, joy, and uniqueness, embracing mistakes as "happy accidents"

Tomorrow is Grief Awareness Day, and we pause in a community still mourning recent tragedy in Minneapolis—the loss that touched our hearts at Annunciation Catholic Church. At Saint Therese, we’re deeply committed to supporting one another. Our full-time pastoral care directors -- including Mollie Dvorak at Saint Therese of Corcoran, stand with residents, families, and staff through grief's difficult moments. 💜
