🎡 Sensory-Friendly Resources at the Minnesota State Fair! 🎡

Heading to the State Fair with a child or loved one who has sensory sensitivities? Great news — there are amazing supports in place to help make your visit more comfortable and enjoyable!

✨ Fraser Sensory Building
Open daily 9 a.m.–9 p.m. (8 p.m. Labor Day)
📍 West side of Cosgrove St, south of the Home Improvement Building

This calm, welcoming space offers a break from the noise and crowds with weighted blankets, calming music, fidgets, floor cushions, and more. Staffed by trained Fraser sensory support volunteers. Plus — interactive activities, giveaways, and great resources for families!

🚻 Momentum Refresh Mobile Restroom
Open daily 9 a.m.–9 p.m. (8 p.m. Labor Day)
📍 East side of Cosgrove St, north of Lee Ave

The first fully accessible, universally designed mobile restroom in the country — includes a sensory-friendly/nursing space, full-size changing table, and ceiling hoist (bring your own sling).

🎠 Sensory-Friendly Ride Times
📅 Monday, Aug. 25
🧒 Kidway: 9–11 a.m.
🎡 Mighty Midway: 10 a.m.–12 p.m.

During these hours, lights, sounds, and announcements are reduced for a more sensory-friendly experience!

🧠 Helpful Tips
• Visit early in the morning before it gets crowded and noisy.
• Bring sensory tools (or buy a kit at the Fraser building).
• Sunglasses, water bottles, snacks, and a buddy can make the day easier.
• Quiet and shaded family areas: Alphabet Forest, Math-On-A-Stick, FFA Center, and more!
• Fireworks are nightly between 9–10:30 p.m., so plan accordingly.
