I help women over 40 reclaim their energy, lose stubborn weight, and finally feel at home in their bodies.
But here’s the reality… I’m not always the healthiest person in the room. Sometimes I make choices that could be better.
I’ve spent years studying functional nutrition, hormone health, and blood work analysis. I’ve helped hundreds of women get rid of fatigue, bloating, brain fog, lose weight, and more.
But if I’m taking a closer look… there are still days I hit snooze instead of going for my walk, choose chips over a salad, or don’t spend the time and effort needed to be prepared for whatever life event is happening. (Am I lazy, or real?)
Over time, I’ve realized 3 things about myself:
1️⃣ I don’t have endless willpower. And I’ve learned that’s not a flaw — it’s a signal that I need systems and habits that make the healthy choice the easy choice. Or I just may need to pause, slow down, and relieve the tension or stress.
2️⃣ I have very high expectations of myself, and when I don’t meet them, I can be my own worst critic. That used to send me spiraling… Now I try to meet myself with curiosity instead of judgment. I may ask, Why do you want the chips? Is it because I’m low on minerals, stress is tanking my adrenals so I’m in need of more minerals? Or is it the crunch of the chips I’m craving?
3️⃣ I’m actually a better coach and human when I take time away from “perfect health mode.” If I tried to live in discipline 24/7, I’d burn out. The pause is what makes me more present, more patient, and more encouraging with my clients. And the simple reality is, nothing is perfect. Life happens, and we need to work with that instead of shaming and guilting ourselves. Shame and guilt never served anyone. I’ve learned to just get back up and try again.
So yes, I teach wellness.
And yes, I’m still figuring out my own (because the human body and toxic invaders are always changing).
And maybe… that’s what makes me good at it. Because I get it.
I know one thing: my intentions and heart are always there to support my clients in attaining their health goals.
