Community-based mental health recovery and healthy independent living Vail Communities is a non-profit organization based in Hopkins, Minnesota.

Where We Are . . .
• Minneapolis Uptown (36th & Hennepin)
• Hopkins Downtown and Admin Offices (9th Avenue off Main St.) The agency was founded in 1981 to provide community-based recovery services for adults with serious mental illnesses, and named after mental health pioneer Dr. David Vail. Vail Communities currently operates Clubhouse Community Support Programs in Hopkins and Ramsey County (St. Paul) and Minneapolis, provides extensive Case Management services, and runs numerous site-based and collaborative programs with community partners. Vail Communities unique person-centered, recovery-oriented approach to services is based on the internationally acclaimed Clubhouse Model.

Vail Communities is excited to announce a new partnership with Ramsey County to provide Targeted Case Management (TCM) services to its community!

Vail’s TCM services assists in connecting community members with essential resources such as housing, transportation, mental health support, nutrition, and economic assistance- services that promote health, wellness, and recovery.

Vail’s approach is person-centered and collaborative. Not only do we work directly with individuals, but also those that our clients care most about -family, friends, and other service providers - to ensure consistent, high-quality, and coordinated care.

We are proud to continue serving Hennepin County in this role for over 25 years and are honored to extend this care and commitment to the residents of Ramsey County.

We’re grinning ear to ear!😁We want to give a huge thank you to Delta Dental of Minnesota for sending 500 toothbrushes and toothpastes for our Clubhouse Resource Pantries. We also want to thank Hopkins Lions Club for sending us 10 care kits for the pantries! We’re incredibly grateful to all of our community partners out there❤️

Vail Communities is hiring for a Community Support Generalist at our Uptown Clubhouse! Join our team to make a difference in the lives of our Clubhouse Members each day.

About the role ➡ The Community Support Generalist engages with Clubhouse members as colleagues in meaningful work and encourages people who might not yet believe in themselves. Community Support Generalists lead and model through encouragement, appreciation, and a focus on abilities while allowing for and accommodating the needs individuals served.

As a Community Support Generalist, you are integral to the daily functioning of the Clubhouse! Your role includes planning and coordinating work tasks with small and large groups, assisting Clubhouse members in developing vocational, educational, and housing goals, and more.

WOW! What an incredible day we had for CarniVail on Saturday...thank you to everyone who joined us in support of mental health! Step right up! Step right up! CarniVail is just TWO days away and we are so excited we can hardly contain it! 🎉

Swing by from 10am - 1pm on Saturday at St. Mary's Greek Orthodox Church for some family fun! We've got carnival games, mini golf, food trucks with food for purchase, inflatables, and so much MORE! This incredible video put together by our Clubhouse Members really says it all. We hope to see you there 🎈🤩

When September still feels like summer, it calls for weeding and landscaping work! Yesterday, staff and Clubhouse Members helped clean up around H2 and the Hopkins Clubhouse. Thank you to everyone who helped! Who knows, maybe this will help usher in some cooler fall weather? 😉🍂

Bring the whole family to this mental health themed event – there will be carnival games, resource booths, food trucks with food for purchase, and so much more!

Tomorrow’s the day! Vail Communities will be joining advocates, supporters, and other organizations at the annual NAMI Walk in Minnehaha Park! We’re proud to sponsor this event that brings us together in support of mental health!

Even if you’re not participating in the walk, come join the community to show your support! There will be a resource fair, food, music, kids zone, dog zone, and more. We hope to see you there—swing by our booth and say hi!
