I don't make posts about this kind of thing often, but some days a Win should be celebrated!

Today, after a long and tedious back and forth with the state, many memos and motions filed, and a lot of hard work on behalf of the client - the State filed a dismissal 10 minutes before we were to appear before the Jury. Charged with a felony Promotes Prostitution of an Individual and looking at 117 months in prison - this afternoon the client got to walk home (maybe drive in this weather) without ever needing to think about this ever again.

Many thanks to my colleague on this case, Mr. David McCormick, who was relentless with his legal arguments and whose tenacity was paramount in this dismissal. We make an amazing team, and now we can take a well deserved breather!
