On Fridays we proudly wear RED to 'Remember Everyone Deployed'.

This month, Minneapolis VA employees are also embracing red attire to celebrate 'Go Red for Women' in honor of Heart Health Month. 'Go Red' raises crucial awareness about cardiovascular disease, which remains the leading cause of death for women. ❤️

Edward “Mike” Murphy, a Marine, is our Volunteer of the Month.

He has dedicated 20 years of service and 3,448.95 volunteer hours to the Minneapolis VA! Not only does he volunteer in the Inpatient Pharmacy, this month his creativity is on display in the medical center. Mike spent weeks researching the Battle of Iwo Jima, as Feb. 19th marked 81 years since the U.S. invaded Iwo Jima. He collected photos and facts, ultimately designing a whole storyboard.
