This stimulation guides the body towards balance and homeostasis naturally. Tuina Massage is a hands-on-body modality using various techniques to bring balance to the body. Tuina treats both acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions, as well as many other conditions. Cupping is a technique in which glass cups are heated to create a vacuum and then applied to the afflicted parts of the body to relieve pain. Herbs and Dietary Therapy is used in Chinese medicine from a functional and energetic standpoint. Specific herbs and foods are advised based on the condition of the patient to relieve symptoms organically. Herbs are used singularly or in formulas, and in capsule, pill, powder, or tea form.
