In response to the spread of the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic, Controltek Building Services wanted to inform all of our customers, employees and all those involved that we are making every effort to continue to follow all CDC and OSHA guidance to necessary steps to help minimize the spread of COVID-19. Below are some steps we've like to ask all of you to comply with in order to help us manage the spread of this virus:
Controltek Employees:
1. Stay home if you are sick or has been exposed to anyone that has been tested positive for the Coronavirus (COVID-19). In which case, you will not be permitted to work for 14 days.
2. If you are experiencing symptoms of mild to severe respiratory illness; fever, coughing, or shortness of breath seek medical advice. Stay home and do not go to work.
3. You can return to work after 24 hrs if all signs of symptom has been cleared by a medical professional.
4. Always use proper personal protective gear and equipment when performing cleaning duties.
5. Make sure to wash your hands often and after removing gloves with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.
6. Use hand sanitizers with an alcohol-based that contains at least 60% alcohol.
7. Avoid touching eyes, nose, or mouth with unwashed hands.
8. Use Kleenex to cover your mouth when sneezing and properly dispose of in trash
receptacle. Wash hands for 20 seconds with water and soap. If you do not have a Kleenex sneeze into your forearm or elbow.
We are currently working on stringent safety and cleaning/disinfecting protocols and procedures so we can further safeguard as well minimize the spread of the COVID-19 around our customers and employees or those we are exposed to in our work. We are keeping tabs on the latest updates with the COVID-19 and will keep our customers and employees updated if there is any new changes in CDC and OSHA guidance on the COVID-19.
