Join us on Saturday, December 21st at 6:30
PM for a Posada and lantern-lit Peace Procession co-hosted with the Semilla Center for Healing and the Arts, along with our friends from various partner congregations.
The lantern-lit Peace Procession and Posada will begin at St. Paul’s-San Pablo Church and proceed through the neighborhood, singing traditional songs in Spanish and English, offering a glimpse of hope, community, and peace. After the Peace Procession, we’ll gather back at St. Paul’s-San Pablo to enjoy traditional food, a piñata, and vibrant convivencia (community togetherness) with Alma Andina performing live starting at
7:30PM.
Our other two posadas will be on December 16th and December 19th, beginning at 6:30
PM at San Pablo/St. Paul’s. Each evening will include a procession to the host’s home in the neighborhood, offering us shelter that evening. There will be music, food, and a piñata every night!
Únase a nosotros el sábado 21 de diciembre a las 6:30 p.m. para nuestra ultima posada y Procesión por la Paz iluminada con linternas, con el apoyo del Semilla Center, junto con nuestros amigos de varias iglesias hermanas.
Comenzaremos en la Iglesia St. Paul’s-San
Pablo y caminaremos por el vecindario, cantando villancicos, ofreciendo esperanza, comunidad y paz. Después de la Procesión por la Paz, nos reuniremos nuevamente en St. Paul’s-San Pablo para disfrutar de una comida típica, una piñata y una hermosa convivencia con musica en vivo gracias a Alma Andina.
Nuestras otras dos posadas serán el 16 y 19 de diciembre, comenzando a las 6:30PM en San Pablo/St. La de Pablo. Cada noche incluirá una procesión hasta la casa del anfitrión, ofreciéndonos refugio esa noche.
¡Habrá música, comida y una piñata todas las noches!
