PKT Enterprises PKT Enterprises is an organization established in 1994, which is committed to serving the needs of adults with developmental disabilities.

PKT Enterprises is actually the name we do business as, and comes from our corporate name, Paraklatos, Incorporated. The word Paraklatos is Greek for “advocate” or “counselor,” implying a “coming along side” role, a position with a responsibility that we believe to be very important. In viewing ourselves as advocates; we strive to support the dreams, needs, and rights of the individuals we serve,

and as counselors; to coach, instruct and encourage each person to achieve their full potential. We began with one home in St. Paul and have gradually grown to our current number of 9 residential group homes in the St. Paul and Minneapolis area. The type of assistance we provide depends on the needs and desires of the individuals we serve. We are committed to providing the highest quality of care to all those we serve. We believe that in providing an environment which is safe and fun, our clients have the ability to live, learn and grow while achieving their goals. It is our desire to promote independence, provide opportunities to have meaningful relationships and introduce our clients to new experiences. We believe that the best investment that one can make is in the lives of those around us. Our priority is in our people, both clients and staff. Clients are supported in their living environment, which allows them to be offered and make choices regarding the care and services they receive. Staff are trained and prepared through on-going education, tailored to each client’s individual needs, diagnosis, dreams, and desires. In addition to our company wide high quality staff, we have a select group of staff trained to specifically serve the deaf/hard of hearing population in all departments.

PKT is 30½ years old and it is time to celebrate! For our half birthday, we are doing our 4th annual YETI Trade/Give Away. To get one of the limited PKT logo’d YETIs, all you need to do is bring a BROWN item to trade for this year’s orange YETI. The item is up to you; the only requirement is that it is BROWN.
There are two additional bonus opportunities as well.
1. If your BROWN item is unique, meaning no one else has brought in the same BROWN item, you will win a valuable bonus gift!
2. At the end of the Trade/Give Away, PKT's president will choose his favorites from the items brought in and those individuals will win either a BROWN YETI cooler tote or a BROWN 64oz YETI. Winners will be notified.
Rules:
• You must come to the office when Karin is present. She has a new schedule :) Email Karin to confirm she is there to avoid a wasted trip. Karinh@pktenterprises.com (Typically 10:00am-5:30pm on Tue/Wed/Thur is safe but that is why you should confirm) ADDRESS: 514 2nd Street SE, Suite 200, Minneapolis, MN 55414. Located in the SWITCH HOUSE building.
• You cannot make an additional trade for someone else.
• The trade giveaway will last as long as we have YETIs to trade.
• Only one YETI per individual.
• YETIs are traded on a first come first served basis.
• YETIs will not be held or set-aside for anyone.

Clint, one of our friends at the Pink house, turned in his current collection of can tabs at the Ronald McDonald house! Clint has contacts from all over that help him save tabs. Clint gathers them up and holds on to them until it's time to make another donation. The amount he collects is unbelievable! Thank you, Clint, for this very creative way of helping others. You are amazing!
